Last year we didn't have Reyes, also Eboue was not considered to be a right midfielder as he now suddenly seems to be. So really we've got rid of Freddie, Reyes was not there anyway and we seem to have 'acquired' Eboue so maybe Wenger is seeing that as one out and one in.

Screw Henry and Vieira, we miss Pires and Bergkamp.

Just imagine what a Pires and a Bergkamp in their prime would add to this team.

aw crap, they've made the profile private. it was this hilarious taz and beefy-style profile of some kid proclaiming himself as 'the herd youth'. it had a riveting account of when they went up to coventry and showed their 'premiership class' by having a ruck in a car park with some of their 'top boys'.

I'm nodding my head. Hleb is highly unlikely to chip in with more than half a dozen, if that. Same for Walcott this coming season. Rosicky could get goals. None of the central players look like they have goals in them. I think Gilberto's contribution last term was a one of.

Unless he plays something like 4-3-3, say van Persie and Eduardo wide with Adebayor central and takes the emphasis off the midfield. I still agree though, hobo. It's interesting that he's not in for Wright-Phillips. I think he would be worth a punt and we were apparently interested before he went for £silly.

Eduardo might stretch the play a bit more as he'll run the channels more than TH did last season and make room for the MF to get in score. Or something. Maybe.

senderos had a great first season with us then dipped so we'll see how djourou gets on this year. i'm hoping Eduardo gives us some of the leg work that henry lacked, if so he'll become a very important part of our team
