Obviously overturning the 2nd penalty was the correct decision, but not sure why the red card was overturned? Gabriel definitely did kick out at him. (Gabriel is a liability btw and I wish we had a better LCB alternative).

Very fortunate 3 points and Leeds were really good in the second half, but you need the rub of the green sometimes.

He had a flick at him but Bamford went down like he'd been two-footed. Think red would have been harsh but I don't really understand the rule around it.

Other that that I thought Gabe was solid enough but we do need another option in there. Wonder if Ben White could play there.

I think Gabriel is just in one of those periods where he's trying too hard to make up for mistakes and has got himself into a bit of a feedback loop of rash decisions. He's a fine defender but you always get a few rickets from a front footed centre half. I think he's one of our only players searching for a bit of form but he's definitely not a problem yet. Tomiyasu would be an option if you wanted to switch things around but he's so good on the floor it seems a waste to me.

Yeah Bamford made a right meal of it, but what player wouldn't? It was stupid from Gabriel regardless, because he should just be going down to try and waste time there, not getting in a strop and nearly getting himself sent off. Mind you in his defence, he was probably better than Saliba yesterday in general.

Tbh there were some really dodgy decisions all game - we got away with one for a soft foul for Bamford's disallowed goal, the first penalty had a clear offside in the build up, right in front of the linesman. Then the officials needed VAR to see Saliba's obvious handball. And then all that nonsense at the end. Just absolute shite, as usual.

I guess we dug in well enough in difficult circumstances after a trip to the North Pole a couple of days prior, but I can't help but feel that win was more just lucky than doggedly determined. But I guess we were pretty unlucky to come away with 0 points against Man Utd, so maybe we were due some good fortune.

It was the first lucky result of the season in the league I agree. What's nice about the frontline is we have quite a few options to produce something from nothing now, so if Martinelli quiet Saka on the other side can do what he did yesterday.

It was our first xG 'loss' as well which shows so far we've been doing OK and getting the results we largely deserve.

Shows the mood around the club that an easy 1-0 home win to qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League is barely worth commenting on.

Hopefully the Bodo/Glimt and Leeds games were the wobble and we're back on track again. Certainly we won the xG comfortably and Jesus and Saka got to have off nights for finishing to recharge the luck batteries.

13 wins from 14 games this season. Not drawn a game since January. Good team.

I can't even begin to get annoyed about the refs anymore. It's been a nothing game with zero needle and this bloke with the man tits will somehow lose control of it. If you consistently get the micro decisions wrong it all starts to fall apart, and it happens in every single match.

That was the main concern when they signed him, he's not as clinical as he could be, he's been great so far but his tally could be a hell of alot higher than it currently is this season.

That is one of the most corrupt performances from a ref I have ever seen. we  were crap second half and some woeful finishing. but oh my god there was like 3 clear penalties amd at least a couple of booking for their CB's for pulling Jesus to the floor.

He’s probably not corrupt, just fucking shit.

Also, Partey was woeful in the second half and hasn’t even played that many minutes.
