Doesn't seem like we'll be adding anyone before the deadline. It's a shame Neto isn't going to happen as I think he has huge potential, but you can understand why Wolves would want a massive fee and also why we may not be able to do it this summer. Tbh as nice as a wide forward would be, midfield depth seems more of an issue anyway atm. We probably need to get Fabio Vieira up to speed so he can contribute ASAP, as it's not like we paid peanuts for him.

all the usuals reporting we're in for Villa's Luiz, can see why somebody with 1y left at Villa would be tempted by an offer to join as clubs appear to be on different trajectories.

 

seems ex City and/or Brazilian is to us as ex Ajax is for Utd. Guess we've all got a type.

Squad not looking too strong now, couple more injuries and we could be in trouble.

 

I feel our strongest first 11 is actually really good and possibly only behind the strongest City and Liverpool first 11s but our squad is surely not strong enough for the rest of the season?

 

We could always ask Forest to chuck us a few players.

Decent bloke but never recovered from his last injuries though and as a flawed defender that lack of pace meant he couldn't get himself out of the inevitable trouble his suicidal positional sense caused. He's nowhere near what we need in a RB nowadays.

 

I'd rather Cedric started than him which is a sign of his decline.

I don't disagree and it's due to his personality that I'm sad to see him go, also a shame things couldn't be sorted with Real Betis for him to stay there than Barcelona. I know he played for them as a kid but, well, it's Barcelona.
