Partey not going on the US tour after missing the Germany one, best not discussed why.

 

Makes that position the priority to close in the transfer window now as it's not a position we have cover for really, as the end of last season showed. Haven't seen much of Tielemans at Leicester so not really sure what type of player he is beyond the occasional spectacular strike from range.

 

Seeing as he's only got 1y left seems odd no club is trying to prise him away from the Midlands if he's as good as some people seem to think he is.

i heard on the news this morning that an unnamed premier league club will not be suspending an unnamed played from north London who has been questioned about offences but not charged.

Unnamed player hasn’t been charged though. If that changes I’m sure unnamed Premier League club will take appropriate action.

Pleasantly surprised at all the money we've been spending this window. Even after Jesus and Martinez it seems like Zinchenko is going happen and maybe even Tielemans?

 

The less said about Partey the better. With his injuries and now this, this has got to be up there with Pepe as one of the club's worst transfers.

Zinchenko seems a decent proven PL player who must be known very well to Arteta. 

 

£30m seems a lot for him, but it's quite hard to judge him in that City team, is he elevated by their overall quality or held back and less noticeable because of all the other talent.

 

Sure we've had to wave some big wages under his nose as well to get him.

 

In a compressed season better to get your business done now though whatever it's going to be.

Yeah it’s bloody awful. I can’t see me getting behind this team whilst he’s in it. Which is a shame as this is the first Arsenal team in a very long time that I like. But I just cannot get behind a team/club that will tolerate that behaviour.

Yeah, the club were playing the innocent until proven guilty & no charges bought defence up until this point.

 

It's beyond that now even if technically that is still true. Irrespective of what his contract allows in terms of financial punishment & formal suspension he shouldn't be doing something as trivial as playing a game of football with the severity of the accusations she's making and amount of content she is releasing.

“binged” the first three episodes of Arsenal: all or nothing. Spotted me and the boy in the Norwich footage.
 

Aston Villa not so much.

 

The worst part is the boy, with the spoilers… apparently it’s the “nothing” ending for this one.

 

I jest. He provides stats on the game that, in the footage, they’re about to play. This provides a nice directors commentary for the behind-the-scenes preparation taking place.


You can see how what happened on the pitch has… roots in that buildup, and it makes you appreciate “the arsenal way” more.
