Wow. Maybe they are trying to distract us from the white one as said above. Hoops? I'm sure they will dig out some shit about how we once wore that kit in 1899 and it's a part of our heritage like they have with the white.

The point is Arsenal, like the white kit, we are not famous for wearing it!

Home = Red with white sleeves.

Away = Yellow with blue trim/sleeves.

3rd kit if you must = Do what the fuck you like as long as the two above are correct.

I understand they need to make money from merchandising but they don't need to make us look like cunts in the process.

I'd like to see Babel join us too but all I've seen of him is the always accurate representation from YouTube videos which could, let's face it, make Cisse look good. Anyone seen him play a copule of full matches care to fairly rate him?

And the whole thing with the white kit, as I'm sure many have said already, vote with them wallets. Just don't buy the thing, it's the only way Nike will learn. Like I said, I don't really mind it but I won't be buying. Hopefully it's just a season long thing.

I've just ordered a Rosicky 7 home shirt - the other kits are bobbins :)

I don't think the White kit is our biggest problem, I don't actually mind it to be honest, it's still got the Arsenal badge on it, it's gonna be worn by Arsenal players so it's not such a big disaster really. If anyone is offended by it and really doesn't like it then it's their choice to not buy it - simple.

Is it our 3rd kit or away kit by the way?

What our problem at the moment is, are all these rumours about Henry, Fabregas and Wenger leaving, about how much longer they going to be at the club. It's all very unsettling. On top of that we've got these boardroom/Dein/American bloke shenanigans going on which yeah as fans we should ignore and the players as professionals should ignore, but the truth is we are all human and it's impossible to ignore.

We need Henry and Cesc to come aout and say they are not going anywhere and they love Arsenal. Wenger has said he'll see out his contract and then we'll see. I suppose that's kind of fair enough. We just need to hope that he signs a new contract when this one finishes. We also need a couple of signings to add to the squad/team (especially a wide man, Babel maybe?).

I've said it before, the squad we have does not need major surgery just a bit of fine tuning and we need to get rid of a few of the players who are not up to it i.e Baptista (he has gone hasn't he?) Alliadiere, Freddie (great servant but time has caught up with him, we'll never forget the dodgy red barnet days though).

Fixtures are out today!

Totally agree with all of that. In regards Fab, he has pretty much said he'll be with us for a while yet, it would seem to papers have latched on to the fact he has said he'd like to return to spain one day and when he said that his future is strongly tied to Wenger it didn't help. Henry, though, really needs to just say outright, "I'm here next season, that's it. Now leave me alone!"

We need Henry and Cesc to come aout and say ... they love Arsenal.

Do they though? They seem to love Wenger more than the Arsenal and that worries me. Do we really have any players who love the Club? I think you only get that with English players who come through the ranks. That football365 article linked above is a good read and sums up how I feel. If they don't want to be at the Club then they can fuck off, regardless of how good they are. I'll sing their names and maybe buy a shirt but I'm not fawning over multi millionaire playboys anymore. I remember stories of Rocastle crying when Graham said he was selling him. I'd swap Henry and Cesc for a Rocky.

Regarding the American, I understand the board have met him to clarify things and keep it all friendly. If they get him on board now, after losing Dein over that very issue, I'll be disappointed. I think Dein was the main man and that's becoming more and more evident. We should beg him to come back cos without him we look like a Club in the dark ages. Dein coming back would be like the best new signing, but I'm not sure if his love for the Club or his pride would win over.

When I said Cesc and Henry should come out and say they love Arsenal I was being a bit sarcastic really, just them saying they are not going anywhere would do really.

To be fair neither is English so why should they love Arsenal any more than they love Wenger, it's hardly the club they supported as kids and stood on the terraces watching. It's just the way football is nowadays and we need to accept that there is hardly any loyalty around anymore.

What I mean is, yes they do have a debt to Arsenal and a bit of loyalty to the club would be great but they also owe Wenger and it's understandable and realistic that they do have and show a lot of loyalty to Wenger fisrt.

We don't really like it because we the fans are the ones who are loyal, we support our team through thick and thin, players and managers come and go. Henry has already shown the club some loyalty, by sticking around last year for example when he had a better offer (financially) on the table. It would be great if Cesc showed some loyalty to the club for giving him his chance and paying him so well but he is Spanish and a Barcelona fan so for us to think he will never leave Arsenal and doesn't have any ambition to play for Barca is just not being realistic. Lets just hope the inevitable happens years and years down the line.

:)

Yeah, I know mate  . We can't expect them to commit their lives to the Arsenal but some loyalty would be nice and they can drop all this 'I'm here because Wenger is here'. That's starting to get on my nerves. Wenger didn't buy them out of his own pocket, he doesn't spend a huge chunk of his salary supporting them or wearing their names on his back and he doesn't pay their wages.

Anyway..

Ajax starlet Ryan Babel has conceded it would be 'a dream' to play under Arsene Wenger at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are understood to be taking a keen interest in the Ajax player who is currently starring for Holland in the European Under 21 Championship.

Babel - who scored in the 2-1 win over Portugal on Wednesday - has now admitted he would leap at the chance to work with the Frenchman in North London.

"If I get the chance one day to train with Arsene Wenger it would be a dream," said Babel.

"From when I was young I supported Arsenal. I liked the style, the ambience, how they show themselves on the field - everything."

Obv. this is gonna run and run but new reports are suggesting Wenger has met Barca about Henry and Eto'o.

I can see this happening now, the noises from Henry suggest he might be off. Maybe it would be good business if we got Eto'o, he's a more direct goalscorer and things need freshening up. No real problem replacing one world star with another, it makes sense all round. I wouldn't like to see Henry go without getting in a proper ready made replacement though.

While Eto'o for Henry would be the best worst case scenario I still believe Henry will be with us come next season. He sent me and all his friends on my space message telling us so!

But seriously, he did.

Interesting development Wenger meeting Barca; I like to think Wenger was finalising Messi's transfer to us but in reality it looks like:

Henry or Eto - one or the other leading our attack next season!

I don't think it will happen and i hope it doesn't happen as Henry has been a great servant.

Of course, but all good things come to an end. Best to leave on a high rather than coast through a couple of seasons feeling sorry for himself and end up going to Seville for £2m. I would imagine he wants out. He's always made noises about ambition etc. and we've hardly shown that. We need to tell Barca 'hands off Henry but we'll have Eto'o, thanks' and that ain't gonna happen. I think it would make sense all round so long as we get a motivated ready made replacement who genuinely wants to come to us.

Goes without saying that whatever happens Henry has been absolutely amazing and in the top two or three best players this country has ever seen. He raised the bar and pretenders need to match his game now. He's been the ultimate modern striker.

Lots of rumours, seems he's been dropping hints about how he supports us and he'd love to play for Wenger.

Oh ok, I thought there was something more than the rumours.

As for the white kit and spurs connection, there isn't one.

Come on guys for fu*k sake, where's the connection? the white fabric? how about the red bits? how about the Arsenal badge? how about the Arsenal players wearing the damn thing?

it's ok, I'm calm now...............I'm calm...........I fell a lot better.

Arsenal have reached an agreement with FK Haugesund to sign starlet Havard Nordveit, according to reports in Norway.

Arsene Wenger has been keen to tie up a deal for the 16-year-old defender and travelled to Norway earlier this week in hope of sealing his signing.

However, The Gunners had a bid in the region of £1.8million rebuffed by Haugesund, who then invited other top European clubs to table their bids.

Arsenal have now come back with an improved offer of £2million which has been accepted by the Norwegian club.

Nordveit is understood to have agreed a four-year contract at Emirates Stadium and the deal will officially go through on 2nd July.

The young stopper will travel with the rest of the Arsenal squad on their pre-season tour of Asia.
