Wenger needs to work out a system to find starting places for Aubameyang & Lacazette.  With Ozil feeding them ammunition it could be quite a potent attack.  The likes of Ramsey getting in the way will just slow the team down, so we need to find a system that works.

Ideally Ramsey finds a spot in the Cardiff team.

4312 or 4222 with Ozil and Micki behind Auba and Laca gives us the most offensive potential.

Defensively it would be a problem if we insist on playing Xhaka, should probably have Elneny and Wilshere infront of the back four.

sorry to be a financials bore but clubs receive very little income directly from additional shirt sales  - its more of a licensing deal where the sports companies (Puma, Nike or that Under Garments lot) pay up front for the right to sell shirts and other branded club merchandise.

It'll surely be Lacazette that is shifted wide when Aubameyang is playing. Lacazette played wide for Lyon a fair bit. Then when Aubameyang isn't in the team you just move Lacazette into the middle and play someone else wide.

I don't think Wenger will play two up front and I'm not sure he'll use either of them out wide either. I think Lacazette probably just becomes backup/Europa League CF for the rest of the season.

Unless Wenger leaves then I can see us selling Lacazette in the summer tbh, probably to Atletico who were going to buy him before their transfer ban. If Griezmann goes in the summer I'm sure they'd still be interested, it's not like he's been disastrous this season. But AW declined to sign him for years when he was being touted as an option and he obviously hasn't seen enough this year to put those big reservations to bed.

He’s not made anyone look daft, he’s fine when the we are playing leave space, when we play against 2 banks of 4 he slows our football down, does too many tricks and flicks and offers nothing in the way of protection vs counter attacks, scorIng a hattrick changes none of that.

Who's a realistic target to replace Cech in the summer? That's apparently 8 games he's gone without keeping a clean sheet, I feel sorry for whoever does his laundry

Mignolet will be available for a very reasonable amount in the summer.

well that was very interesting

Auba (I'm not being overfamiliar, just not going to type in full every time) showed more in one half than Lacazette all season, pace, movement, great touches and a constant threat in and around the box (everything our previous record signing isn't). He looked so good I don't even see how Laca gets back on the pitch other than thru injury or one of those games we are behind in when Wenger puts every striker on for the last 20m.

Mhkyt had a great debut too, lots of nice first time passes and sped things up in the final third where we've looked so stodgy.

I'm not getting carried away, Everton were dogshit awful in the first half, its the first time I've heard away fans boo their team off - they just sat off and did nothing, they are Ramsey's ideal opponents, he's the ultimate flat track bully against crap who don't track his runs and let him waltz into the box at will (I've always thought Ramsey best team to play against would actually be us).

Only downside of the day is that damn Aubamyang chant, its gonna get old real quick but as it has no words its already caught on big time.
