The one positive from that was Wilsires performance; his passing was superb, great in the tackle, still running at the end. But otherwise it was poison all round.

Fair play to Özil, after a period of looking disinterested earlier in the season, he’s been totally carrying the team for a few weeks now. Another pretty wretched performance.

boring boring arsenal is now factual rather than ironic - its all so uninspired and insipid at the moment. 

 

I'm genuinely worried for what Liverpool's front 4 will do to us - Kos seems to be playing knackered/injured and has lost his pace, Wilshire and Xhaka will offer no protection at all and Bellerin seems to have forgotten he's a defender, but doesn't do anything other than cut back and look to pass short and inside when he gets forward.

Yeah, Wilshire was excellent as was Alexis. This god damn team will be the death of me, they should have been 3 up at half time but were lucky to get out with the win at the end. I'm not a big fan of this 3 at the back but Bellerin having a 'mare didn't help.

N'Zonzi a flop?

 

He was loved at those two clubs (or at least at Stoke) and was one of La Liga's best players last season, also breaking into a ridiculously stacked France team.
