Mertesaker my Motm, proper captains performance. I mean the whole team were immense. But I really enjoyed our back 3 today.

Definetly, Per and Holding had a good thing going on especially

Just got to echo all the other comments, I was so proud of Per, he was incredible, his positioning is impeccable and with a bit of attitude he's amazing, he didn't give Costa or Hazard anything.

Rob Holding, what a future, "I'm sorry he didn't cost 50million".

Ramsey was sensational, he ran and ran and ran, Alexis and Ozil were just unbelievable, they pulled Chelsea out of shape, gave them a very difficult time.

So so pleased for Arsene and the boys.

No surprise on Wenger singing a 2 year contract extension. Hope we can keep hold of Sanchez and Ozil and keep playing like we've done the past few games. Would love to bring in a Striker to replace Giroud but god knows if there's money for something like that.

Really, really pleased Wenger is staying. He is legacy, history, and has always acted with passion and class. I bloody love him.

Hey maybe these last two years - out of the Champions League may be good? I want to see you guys take the Europa less seriously and go for the league. Do a Chelsea!

Good luck next season guys, I hope you challenge and make things exciting :)

Of course there is! Its just never spent.

If they dont spend big this summer Arsenal will be left way behind. ManCity have already spent £40something-million and are eyeing up a similar bid on Walker from Spurs, which is insane amounts.

Great timing now Dortmund part ways with Tuchel days after German Cup win...

Think a lot of big clubs will be a bit wary of Tuchel now though after what went down. He's obviously a great coach and tactician but off the pitch he didn't seem to handle the transition to a big club very well, even if not everything that happened was necessarily his fault.

I don't really keep up to date on the finances, but I know we have a pretty hefty wage bill, 2 superstars who want big money raises and we don't have the resources of Chelsea, City or United. Doesn't seem like we'll be getting a Griezmann or Mbappe coming in TBH.

I suspect their agents are both using leverage with the clubs current position, but in subtly different ways - nobody is biting our hand off for Ozil so his agent is just doing what all good agents would, especially with Sanchez threatening to be off. Ozil will 'do us a favour' and resign for 'just' the 275k a week, then continue to phone it in.

Sanchez on the other hand is upping the bid of a desperate club to maintain its star man solely as the starting point to negotiate with the next place.

Seems we have bid €100m for Mbappe. I don't think we'll get him obviously but I think at this stage of his career, working under Wenger to develop and play every week would be better for him than going to Real Madrid or whatever, so I don't think it's totally absurd. He should probably just stay at Monaco though tbh.

Question I saw on Twitter: would you be ok with Alexis going to Man City if it meant we signed Mbappe? I said no personally but loads had said yes.

Mbappe is an interesting one - he keeps saying things that makes it look like at this stage he doesn't want to go and warm the bench at a Real, Barca, Chelsea - he's repeatedly said its important for him to play at the moment.

Obviously Alexis is amazing and I want him to want to stay, but if he's decided to leave its better to get shot that keep him around being moody, as we saw a bit of that last season and its no good for everybody else.

There is a Louis CK bit about when you bring a puppy home you are just guaranteeing future sadness and misery for your family - can't help but think if we did get Mbappe it would be a bit like this !
