And still nothing changes.  No fight, no pride, nothing!

I'm going to be even more annoyed if Wenger does not offer his resignation immediately.

Well our last champions league game for a couple of years was memorable at least.

Doesn't really matter.  We were only there to make the numbers up.  The club needs a reboot.

Classic Arsenal loss, one important decision goes against us and we utterly capitulate. I remember when we played Bayern in the return leg a couple of years ago and we were winning 2-0 and Bayern just shut the game down. We never ever seem able to do that.

I've watched the replay again and you could argue Koscielny was last defender but did that rule not get overhauled a year or two ago?

Even if not it's still seriously harsh.

It can still be a red if the ref decides he's made no attempt to play the ball.

Two important decisions. The penalty not given could have made it 2-0 going into the break. While we were unlikely to win 4-0 against Bayern, at 2-0 we'd have had a chance, especially with two of their defenders sitting on yellows.

Doesn't excuse the final score, or the capitulation though, but sometimes those sort of strange decisions really do affect the outcome of the game.

EDIT: I'm not sure if I really believe what I just wrote. <_<

The referee was an absolute twat, for one it was never a penalty never mind a red, Lewandowski clearly pushes himself off of Koscielny onto the floor, right infront of the useless 4th official who proceeds to tell the referee it should actually be a red card for Koscielny.

At that point it's easy to see how we capitulated, but I'm not sure it was a particularly 'Arsenal' thing to do, I think most teams would have when they're facing that sort of aggregate scoreline with little left to play.

It's a fucking joke.

Lads we lost 10-2. Yeah the ref was a bit shite, we probably should have had a penalty at 1-0 tonight and the red card was contentious, but I'm not sure he's the principal reason for such a ridiculous defeat. We just gave up at a certain point in both legs and were deservedly humped.

I'm not sure it's that admirable when he started the garbage fire.

Is that entirely fair? The players are letting him down lately for sure. Alexis has put up some great numbers this season, but a lot of those goals/assists have come in games where he's been otherwise terrible and still thrown his little temper tantrums anyway. Ozil has been awful since Christmas. Mustafi has gone to shit. Bellerin has gone to shit. Monreal has gone to shit. Cech has gone to shit even more than he had already. Who has actually consistently performed at level they're capable of? Koscielny maybe? Ox for a handful of recent games? Is that it?

I'm obviously not absolving Wenger and I absolutely hope he leaves in the summer, but some of those players have really not been pulling their weight, particularly in both Bayern games after Koscielny went off.

I think most teams would have accepted that they were never going to get back into the game and dedicated all their effort towards not being humiliated. For teams of Arsenal's standing it should be possible no matter how good the opposition. Arsenal never do this though. Maybe it's admirable, but it means they've been on the end of a few thumpings in recent years. Personally I'd say it is a very "Arsenal" thing to do.

He has an undeserved reputation for working hard based on him doing stupid one-man pressing in pointless areas IMO. In terms of useful stuff like tracking runners he's pretty awful.
