I hope they go out (arsenal), they've picked a second-string squad. Fuck them and all the other teams who don't want to win the FA Cup until they're in the semi-finals. It's disrespectful.

Second string? It's not as if we've got a team of unheard-of youngsters.

Why do BT insist on using steve mcscouse on co commentary for our games, he clearly hates us and you can hear the disappoinment in his voice if we do anything good (rare in this game) or a preston move breaks down.

because BTsport continue with their romancing of Liverpool fans?

Hargreaves was on the early game so because BT only use their 'top' talent for Premier League / FA Cup games if it wasn't McManaman you'd have gotten Savage instead.

What are you talking about? Sanchez was rested after playing every minute of every game over xmas, Kos came off with an injury against Bournemouth and Bellerin is coming back from injury. Beyond that it was all first team players.

Any truth that Sanchez is off and had a huge bust up hence not being picked at all?

there is nothing new in this team is there, we've been seeing all of the current crop of failings and positives for years, meaning its Wenger that is actively putting these traits into the players.

always a positive how we play to the final whistle, its almost peak era Fergie how late we keep going and how often we get late winners (in games where late winners shouldn't be needed), Giroud is massively underrated as a player, and he scores really important goals.

that wasn't a weak team by any means, but yet again the total lack of on pitch leadership meant the whole lot of them ghosted through the first half and needed to be told to buck up at half time, as nobody has the personality of gumption on the pitch to do so.

I'm so frustrated with Ramsey at the moment, when he played for Wales in the summer I don't recall him trying stupid flicks and giving possession away so often, so why does he do it for us, with Coq and Elneny now missing/injured he has a chance to make a central midfield spot his for next few weeks, but suspect he'll be his usual totally indisciplined self and we have a few weeks of shipping goals and the defence being got at as he wanders wherever he wants to.

Finally got around to watching MOTD this morning. I know it's hard to tell from the highlights but Arsenal should have been out of the match at half time. The defending from the whole back line was a horrorshow but Gabrial was on another planet - stepping back when everyone else stepped out, not marking anyone. Great work from Iwobi for the equaliser.

I trust you want Spurs to go out this afternoon, given they've picked far more of a second string for today's game than Arsenal did yesterday.

That's good news to tie them down, though hope Kos not got some release clause in there, but suspect he may have.

I really hope this is a joke but think its not. I am as dog mad as anybody but this seems a bit desperate to make him stay

100% agree - sulking under his coat on the bench after being subbed with 10m to go when you 4 up away from home is pathetic, its absolutely the right thing to do to protect him and ensure he doesn't get crocked, yet he's reacting like a total spastic about it.
