Dean off Twitter said in the summer that Cazorla had a chronic achilles problem which would need careful management. Wenger didn't seem to be managing it with any care; he was playing Santi almost every game. Stupid.

 

Have to play Xhaka in every big game now, can't be having any of this two from Coquelin/Elneny/Ramsey shit.

Yeah, whatever small chance we had of winning the title this season has completely evaporated with no Santi. We're a shadow of the team we are with him playing and fully fit. Balls.

I agree with the fact we look a bit of a mess without Cazorla, but I think that's mostly down to Wenger failing over and over to build a system that works without him. He just seems to stick another player in there with Coquelin and hope it'll all work the same.

 

We have other good CMs, they're just not being put in a system that suits them.

Whole game hinged on the injury and getting gabriel out off the rb spot, he's horrible in that position to the degree stoke didnt even bother defending him having possession.

Pretty boring really and highlights the flaws in the competition format. 

That said, provided we can keep key players fit, this is as good a chance we'll have to beat Bayern. We've improved a bit and they've dipped a little.
