Henry has stated he will be at Arsenal as long as Wenger is:

"I believe in the boss and what he is trying to do here. As long as he is here then I will be here - it's just as simple as that."

Dein is meeting Kroenke to discuss selling his shares. Kroenke also wants to meet the board to discuss what a buy out would involve...apparently.

Did woodgate actually sign for borough? Thanks Daley i read the gossip a few mins ago. I'm not sure whether Baptista will stay although your right that he's down the pecking order now.

Yes, he has signed yesterday. Shame, he would have been great for us. Gallas for £15m seems to good to turn down, but only if there is someone ready to take his role...we need some experience at the back.

Yeah Woodgate signed a permanent deal yesterday, £7million apparently.

I think Baptista will go back to Real as he's clearly not up to it in the PL. Wenger can be quite stubborn at times but surely he can also see what we can all see, and that's that the beast is not really a beast.

On the subject of Gallas, I hope he doesn't go as we definitely haven't seen the best of him yet and there's no doubt he is a world class player. It hasn't quite clicked yet though him and Toure. Hopefully that's just because of all the injuries and disruptions, I mean they've only played a handfull of games together in a settled back four all season. (settled being Eboue/Clichy/Toure/Gallas).

Probably/hopefully just the papers talking bollocks anyway.

I think with a little faith and depending on if we sign him, he will be alot better next season. He's taking ages to adjust but Drogba took 2years so people need to stop being so harsh on him

Whilst Drogba had difficulty finding the net he had plenty of other attributes that made him very valuable to Chelsea before he hit form, particularly in the manner in which Mourinho plays. Baptista hasn't found the net much this season (Carling Cup aside) and has displayed no real useful attributes to this Arsenal side, he's slow, his passing is poor, his movement is average, for a strong guy he doesn't hold the ball up well and his finishing has been fucking diabolical.

If Wenger wanted him as a strong target man then he's a fraction of the player Adebayor is in the premiership and I'm not convinced that the BSTM approach (as it shall now be known) suits Arsenals style of play in the first place.

In short - he'll go this summer. Your faith in him, I'm afraid, is wholly misplaced.

Woodgate for £7m seems a bargain.

As long as we don't have to have Reyes back i'm generally happy.

Wengers comment the other day about having a fit VP and Henry reminds me just how much injury has effected us this season...also makes me think that there won't be any big names coming in the summer.

£7m is a steal for Woodgate if (and only if) he stays fit.

I dont think Gallas will go to Real.

Every year Real are linked to all the leading players in the world. Gallas to Real is bullshit. The next rumour will be Fabregas to Real.

I dont know why anyone would want to play for Real really. A spent force.

A new goalie will be purchased this summer.

Baptistas future will be sorted out next week.

Are you a hitman or something?

Being a united fan some of Arsenal's under-performances this season have been wholly entertaining, but the potential is certainly there. I just can't see them getting close to either Chelsea or United for at least another season, and possibly two. I doubt at akeover will help as Arsene is the master of buying cheap players and turning them into world class footballers. It's fair to say he should probably look away from western european countries when it came to the transfer markets sometimes. You are all saying how can you replace Gallas with 15m, but United signed Vidic for a shade over 6m and he's been as good as any centre half in the premiership this season. If he wants success soon though he's gonna need experience, it's no coincidence that United's return to form coincides with both Scholes and Giggs returning to their best.

Arsenal Ladies are European Cup winners

A very nail biting second leg too with Umea hitting the bar and post latee on and one Keystone cops moment where a shot cannoned back to Emma Byrne's backside off the post and still stayed out.

Eurosport seem to have switched back to superbikes without showing the trophy presentation. Worse than ITV.

Now off the the Emirates.

What did he do this time?

Could have easily cost us 2 points considering the trouble we were having getting a second. Came out to punch a nothing ball that Gallas had covered, fucked it up and left Simon twatting Davies to gently lob it in from 20 yards or so.

We really need to stop making games so nervy towards the end and just kill teams off. Why we played with no tempo until their equaliser i'll never know, the game was far from over

Because Arsenal have nothing left to play for this season. They thought they'd done enough in the first 5 minutes against a side in freefall and so strolled around like they were out for a walk in the park.

Bit dull yesterday. I was literally nodding off in the second half (an all night drugs and booze bender on Saturday didn't help) but it really was run of the mill stuff. We can still get third but there was nowt to play for I suppose.

The discussion in the pub after the game revolved around how we're poor, we need to buy, can these players make us successful etc.? I reminded everyone that we're constantly coming away from games having seen a hat full of chances and having conceded sloppy goals. We never get turned over (well, Liverpool aside but even that wasn't a hiding in terms of possession etc.) and if we can cut out the goals we give away and take a few chances why can't we challenge? Henry and van Persie would have bagged a load of goals this year. It's been a hard season but not all doom and gloom.

I'd have to question playing Diaby on the left but we had little option and I think Arsenal is bedding him in prior to him and Cesc being the central pairing next season. And it must be 'bye bye' to the Beast, he is truly shocking.

This made me laugh, bit cheeky..

Once again, last week, the Spuds celebrated as if they had won the World Cup on drawing 2-2 at home. It meant they had dropped two places, and will struggle to get into Europe. Whilst for Arsenal it meant 4th place and the CL was guaranteed.

Thierry Henry was amused to watch these antics and has told Arsenal fans in the Fulham match day programme:

“What makes me laugh though is the way Tottenham always celebrate whenever they get a draw against us! I would like to remind them that once again they have not made the Champions League.”

Henry was “amazed to see their reaction at the full-time whistle. I had to look twice at the score on the TV because I thought they had won it the way they were celebrating. When I celebrated my equaliser against them at home last season I did so because the goal had a meaning. It turned out to be an important goal in the race for fourth place. I wasn’t going to celebrate just because we drew against Tottenham.”

Henry also remembered the year Arsenal won the league at White Hart Lane, and again they celebrated like mad. However I think the muppets probably didn’t realise that a point was enough to bring the title home. They thought they had stopped us.

As Henry eloquently puts it:

“It was the same when we won the league there in 2004. They equalised to make it 2-2 that day and when I saw Taricco celebrate so much that he injured himself, I said to him ‘you do realise we only needed a point, and now we are celebrating the title on your ground?’”
