Like everyone else, Adebayor was shit. Yesterday's performance was exactly the same as the shambolic West Ham game only we actually managed to put some chances away.

With Freddie, Tomas & Hleb we have three headless chickens who continuously get in each others way. There's never anyone out wide and the whole system is a mess. I don't understand why Wenger can't see it!

Adebayor is not a goalscorer and he's never going to get a lot of goals. Players like Owen, Henry & Fowler are natural goalscorers, you can't teach what they can do as it's natural to them but with Adebayor he's a lost cause. Shame really as he does link up well with Henry but he's just not going to score goals so what's the point of him being there?

What exactly is it that you expect from the team? We played well the only thing we didn't do is what we've failed to do most of the season which is taking our chances

Good performances, effort, some balls when we play away, more effort to get the game back if we are losing, the ability to defend (WTF has happened to Toure & Eboue this year?), decent set pieces (my works team takes more threatening corners) etc...

I really think that Eboue needs a good shouting at - almost lost us the game yesterday and is prone to doing some very silly things. I like Hoyte and think he shouod be given more of a chance.

I also hope today's rumours of Craig Gordon and Ribery being targets are true, they would be 2 super signings.

Your blind, that was a good performance from the team. You seem to be looking for problems.

Eboue can do some stupid things sometimes but he is young and will hopefully mature over the coming seasons. With Hoyte we have healthy competition for that position.

I'm hoping the rumours are true aswell as they'd be two great signings. Esp as Ribery is a proper winger

You don't half talk drivel.

I'm glad you said that.

Yesterday all our pals were saying Adebayor is shit and it was just me and my dad shaking our heads. He works his bollocks off, he's quite quick, he holds the ball up and he can beat a man. Steve's right that he's not a goalscorer but we know that. He was bought as a target man and I like him a lot. He's been working the line on his own and doing well, IMO. He wasn't bought to be a lone striker and considering that it's hard to criticise him. He was everywhere yesterday and he did miss a one on one but it' not like he gets chance after chance.

Good performances? There is no doubt we have produced those. It's results we seem to find tough.

Effort? I think you are wrong there too. The players put the effort in, but are guilty of being over elaborate at times. That for me is the biggest problem.

Balls? Fair enough. We still seem to lack the steel to get results at big strong ugly teams but, without sounding like a broken record, we are a very young side.

Effort to get the game back when losing? Are you serious? We did it on Saturday and surely we have turned more results around than anyone else. I'd be more worried about why we keep falling behind in the first place.

Defending has been poor but again, the team is young and I feel it takes time to learn to play together. Injuries haven't helped in this respect.

The set pieces at Arsenal are abysmal and I agree with that point 100%.

I thought Adebayor was great on Saturday and if he had put his early chance away I think it would have been a perfect lone striker performance. He came short, ran at people, held the ball up, played through balls, battled. I'm not sure what more he could have done on Saturday, especially on his own. Also isn't he about 21? The guy is surely worthy of a bit more time too? If you judge him on goals scored yes he failed, but there was a hell of a lot more to his game on Saturday.

Also saw the Ribery and Gordon rumours. Would be good signings I reckon, especially Ribery.

For what it's worth, I think Adebayor is a very good player. Some of you have mentioned Arsenal may have been guilty of a lack of effort in some games this season. I don't think that can be applied to him at all, I tend to watch a lot of your games and he always seems to run himself into the ground, every single time I watch him. He provides you with a bit of an aerial threat, he's surprisingly good on the deck, works very hard off the ball - which leaves gaps for your midfield to exploit - and is generally a nuisance to the opposition. I reckon he's been well worth the money Wenger spent on him and he'll only get better.

Through work, we make his boots (which is also how I got my shirt). He's only introducing some competition winners but will get a handshake, etc from the great man!

Wicked i'd love to meet him. I've met Jose mourinho but thats nothing to brag about.......

Correct, Ronaldo is the smuggest player in the league, possibly the world. He has performed brilliantly this season and deserves to win both of the PFA awards, but he's still a smug cunt.

Haha  I know you only hate him because he's portuguese so I'll leave your opinion alone
