You may have been, but I've been accused of being him so many times recently I'm starting to think about becoming a paedophile. At least that's a better insult!

One thinks thee protestith too much.

I'm looking forward to watching Arsenal in the Champions League next season, hopefully they will have a fully fit Henry. It would also be good to see Van Persie back as he was on fire before his injury.

And Walcott should hopefully make the team a little more, which would be good to see. Is he having a shoulder operation or something?

He's had the operation already so should be fit for next season.

I'm worried that if we continue to play like we did today we will lose 4th place, hopefully we can get back to winning ways and secure a champions league spot, if so i'll be very excited about next season

The atmosphere wasn't great either - the home fans were pretty quiet and apart from the odd moments the away fans didn't seem to have their hearts 100% in it. Not massive booing at the end though which was a relief.

I'll watch Match of the Day later - there was a goalmouth scramble at the end and I can't believe we didn't put it away!

Anyone else just want this season to end?

After the whimper against Liverpool, the torture of the West Ham game and the £8 I wasted on the Newcastle PPV (I tried to get home too late to see it but I got in at ten to three and just felt obliged) I'm not looking forward to any more Emirates visits.

We've got players who look like they don't give a fuck. Gallas has his head down all the time, Fabregas hasn't played well since I said he was the best midfielder in the world in the Liverpool thread ( ), Baptista is a joke, Hleb is having a nightmare, Fred tries but isn't up to it, Clichy needs a left sided partner and I can't work out why Rosicky isn't playing. Adebayor needs someone alongside him, Aliadiere couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. We haven't seen the real Toure in ages, has he been found out? He gets caught diving in so often now :D .

I know we've got injury problems but we're so weak and this whole scenario of dominating a game and losing to a stupid goal is becoming a joke.

Diaby is a positive from the season, as is Clichy. I think we should let Gilberto move on, I like him but he gives the ball away too much for me and he's getting on. I can't work out our best central pairing (Diaby and one other, probably) and whether we should go in for Sidwell or some other resilient character who'll give you 100% most weeks.

Really disappointing and the CL scenario (ie going out to PSV and a probable English winner) is truly sticking in my throat. With respect, Liverpool aren't a great side but they dicked us and strolled past PSV.

We've gone backwards. Has Wenger taken us as far as he can?

"The temptation is always there to spend but I'm more concerned with developing the young players. I don't think we need a big investment."

Fucking hell ;) .

A few things need to change for next season, Fabregas and Gilberto cannot be playing week in week out as Fabregas looks tired alot and as dude Ranch said Gilberto gives the ball away too much. Walcott should hopefully be better and pushing Hleb for a starting place as i feel he doesn't give 100% each game. Maybe get a true left winger and push Rosicky in the centre where he can dictate the game and be our "link man"

Not quite sure if i want Jens to sign a new deal, would probably rather we signed a young keeper and let Almunia step up.

rosicky is back in the squad which is good news i just hope the team find some fluency in their play

Sorry, have you ever seen Almunia play?

I'd rather Poom was in goal.

Can anyone who went yesterday let me know what you thought of Adebayor, please?

We had a discussion in the pub afterwards and opinion was completely split.

Ta.

Anyway, a good win. Fabregas was back on form and we definitely look better when Rosicky starts. Still can't finish our chances though ;) .

Baptista is the worst player I've seen in an Arsenal shirt for ten years. He makes Christopher Wreh look good.

Like everyone else, Adebayor was shit. Yesterday's performance was exactly the same as the shambolic West Ham game only we actually managed to put some chances away.

With Freddie, Tomas & Hleb we have three headless chickens who continuously get in each others way. There's never anyone out wide and the whole system is a mess. I don't understand why Wenger can't see it!

Adebayor is not a goalscorer and he's never going to get a lot of goals. Players like Owen, Henry & Fowler are natural goalscorers, you can't teach what they can do as it's natural to them but with Adebayor he's a lost cause. Shame really as he does link up well with Henry but he's just not going to score goals so what's the point of him being there?
