I heard he got done by Gabriel in training. I think a lot of these ankle knocks are partly down to his playing style where he dribbles in congested central areas, and doesn't always release the ball early enough, but there does seem to be an inherent weakness there regardless.

This is a bit of a stab in the dark, but my sister is hoping to take her boyfriend to the Arsenal Stoke game on 12th Sept for his birthday. She's bought him a membership already, but that's one ticket per member. She's wondering if she needs to buy a membership herself as well, or if there's another way? Is it possible to "borrow" a membership? How difficult is it to actually get tickets with a membership?

She can use a friends membership as you just swipe the card at the turnstile, but yeah premier league games won't be on general sale so you will need 2 memberships

if you get a digital membership its free. you only need to be a red member if you are planning on buying the tickets from general sale.

if you know anyone with a membership they can "give to a friend" and just transfer the ticket to another digital membership. (you will get an email that you print out and scan the barcode to gain entry to the stadium)

if you follow @arsenal_tickets or the like, you will find loads of people selling tickets. probably asking you to meet at the ground or the like. just tell them you want them to transfer the ticket to your free arsenal digital membership.(you will get an email from arsenal confirming that the person selling the ticket wants to add you as part of there network then an email confirm the offer of a ticket to your account.)

it sounds more convoluted than it is but it works.

I've set my misses up with a free digital membership and me and the bloke I sit next to just transfer the tickets for any games we can't get to, to a digital membership and we then just use our season ticket for one and the printed email for the other.

I'm doing it for the west ham game as it happens as he can't make it.

[edit] this is a link that explains it. it does say once the game is sold out, but i think pretty much every arsenal game gets classified as sold out.

Any idea of the team line up yet, do we think Debuchy is going to start, or stick with Monreal and Bellerin? My Dream Team depends on it!


I'm always up for two tickets together if anyone wants to sell them for games. My friend lends me his tickets right on the corner flag but some of the language is a bit colourful to take my 8 yr old :)

anybody heading in I saw some some travel disruption today - no Victoria line service between Walthamstow and Seven Sisters and looks like some bus replacement between Alexander Palace and further North on the line that goes through Enfield

Coquelin-Ramsey CM not really working so far in this game. Got no first pass, build up is poor. Doesn't help that Per has made some odd passing decisions too.

Edit: good to see Petr Cech settling into the Arsenal way nice and early :facepalm:
