I don't even have to check what soppy pricks have pos'd that, but read it back to yourself, then have a good look in the mirror and come to terms with why you have no friends and got bullied in school "Pet"

I read it back today and laughed actually.

I know as an Arsenal fan I shouldn't like Roy Keane, but he does nail it so often (as does fellow Manc Gary Neville)

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/11778359/Arsenal-players-are-too-obsessed-with-selfies-and-six-packs-to-win-Premier-League-says-Roy-Keane.html

Nah hes talking bollocks, hes obviously blind to the amount of Social Networking that comes from the likes of Neymar and Fabregas and blatantly ignores that he played alongside David Beckham.

Gotters are you actually serious? The reason we haven't won the league is because some players like taking selfies?

Like, I'm sure a grumpy weird old man like Keane would love to think that's a factor, but I'd say it's probably more the fact that we've always had a squad that wasn't quite good enough.

Edit: Christ I just got to the bit where he has a pop for celebrating reaching the FA Cup final. Like in Roy's strange mind everyone should have trudged off miserably because it was only Wigan

And a lot of that's been because of the stadium. Keane's just going through the motions there and giving the papers what they want. Selfies and smartphones are a part of life now, especially young peoples lives. Does he think fabulously rich young athletes should lock themselves way from such things? And that they some how effect players performances?

its not about the selfies is it - its about the lack of that killer instinct and desire to win that separates the merely very good from the world beaters.

I've said here many times that we're too cosy, too cosseted as a squad. Its all very nice and I'm sure the players like it and feel good, but its that killer edge we lack which wins titles and champions leagues.

Did you even read the article you linked? It just seems a bit strange because the article you've linked (which you said you agree with) specifically says Arsenal won't win anything because they're obsessed with selfies.

I took selfies to be how he was implying a general softness and lack of grit to compete at the very top level (title and CL winning level, not being content with an FA Cup).

when he talked about prawn sandwiches he didn't literally mean ever person in the corporate boxes were quite because a prawn sandwich bestows quietness upon a person, did he ?

I really like that from Wenger, glad he's standing his ground.

The headline on the sky sports app is from Mourinho saying the defensive side won and he talks a load of shit. Wut?! He's such a mind game playing hypocrite prick.

I'm glad he's in the prem though, bring back all the mental managers!

loved the arsenal fans singing boring boring Chelsea towards the end of the first half when they were knocking it around their defence and midfield, trying to coax us out. We just kept our shape and in the end they lost possession to loud cheers. They didn't seem to know how to break us down. They set up not to lose and so it was crucial to score first.

I can't stand mourinho. The guy is absolute scum and it winds me up how much the media love him.

I'm glad Wenger blanked him.

Two seasons ago, you would have written "not being content with finishing 4th every year" which just shows this team is improving.

Taking photos implies nothing other than 1) you think you look good and 2) you want to record moments in your life.
