I got some good laughs from the BBC website this morning.

The Colombian was not even called from the bench amid United's increasing panic, which saw the great tactician Van Gaal end with the giant figures of Marouane Fellaini and Chris Smalling up front.

Adnan Januzaj also attempted to deceive Oliver with a dive so late it almost came in the opening moments of Sunday's game with Spurs. Desperation did not cover it.

Four of United's next five games are against Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, and Man City. They could be well out of touch of fourth soon.

It's easy to forget because the misses were so woeful and we conceded 3 sloppy goals, that we had 5 really good chances (including 2 practically open goals) so their defence wasn't necessarily as steadfast as hindsight has painted them.

Sadly that was against a second-string Monaco back line and I can't imagine their first team will be so open. Thinking about it all again, we really blew it! They were there for the taking again and again and we didn't take anything until it was too late.

I still strongly believe our attack, if they get mentally there, can do what's required. We have the ability, certainly.
