I'm not sure he'd have started vs Chelsea anyway tbh; he's a risk taker in possession and I think Wenger will maybe want to keep things a bit tighter than last year. Would be shit not to have him as an option off the bench though, obviously.

That said, more pace up front means we won't need to play the full backs virtually as wingers like last season, so maybe in that sense it helps defensively. It's a tough one, as is who to select in CM. Cazorla is a safer bet in possession than Wilshere, and is less likely to get riled up by Ramires clattering into him, but he'll struggle physically in there against Chelsea I think.
