I'm not really bothered that we went out of the League Cup. Our squad doesn't have the depth & quality to challenge in every competition so at least we can concentrate on the important stuff.

I just hope the players rested for tonight turn up against Totteringham Wanderers at the weekend.

Oh god yeah, forgot about that. Time and time again they were sailing over everyone. Bleh.

Anyways I hope everyone is psyched for a couple of knocks against Spurs so we go to Stamford Bridge with a back four of Bellerin-Chambers-Koscielny-Coquelin. I for one can't wait!

Thought Hayden played pretty well. Bellerin was a bit disappointing. Coquelin played well at left back (just me, or does he always seem to do better at full back than in midfield? Can remember him having a barnstormer at right back when we hammered Blackburn that time).

Also we talked before about lack of effort and "disgraceful" performances; well Podolski last night was as close as you'll see to a man who gives literally zero fucks. Genuinely appalling lack of interest from him, evidently he's decided he's got no chance of getting into the proper team so he'll just pocket his £100k/week and fuck about on Instagram.

He seems to spend more time watching Cologne play than Arsenal!

I'm trying to remain positive but considering that we had 70% possession & 15 corners ffs that all came to nothing, that's another draw that really should've been a win. The Chelsea game looks ominous & I can quite easily envisage another battering on the cards there. It's certainly not going to be any easier with Arteta, Ramsey & Wilshere all looking like they could possibly be out for some time now. Fuck our luck with injuries as per usual.

On the plus side Özil looked bright again and Gibbs did too, I thought.

We could have 150 corners, we still wouldn't score from all but 'fuck-all' of them.

You have to hand it to Wenger. He gets ripped apart for playing Ozil wide, eventually gives him a chance in the middle where he promptly has his best game in some time and then, at the first opportunity, he puts him back on the wing!

Anyway, we just look a bit impotent. Slightly worrying given how we have so many creative midfielders.
