While obvious on camera it was fairly close in action so any hint to the linesman would have helped if he was in two minds in any way. You didn't, therefore goal, right or wrong. Who was the defender right behind who should've seen he was offside anyway? Bizarre he didn't even appeal.

We need to look at our bank balance and go for the best possible target we can realistically get. Spend all the monies. Breathing a sigh of relief when Giroud comes on is pathetic. Someone world class is needed, whoever that might be.

It's early days of course but he basically offered nothing at all. It's hard to even appraise it because he just didn't do anything. Bit concerning, and the prospect of it failing and going into a third straight season with Giroud up front boggles my mind.

I'm glad wenger brought on Giroud at half time, but it wouldn't have been for Sanchez. Wilshere and chambo were awful and by taking one of them off, Ozil could've played where he should always play.

Nah I think we're done up top, I don't see any sufficiently good centre forwards available anymore really. Probably just Manolas and maybe a midfielder.
