Nah he is legit more of a DM than Reus.

I don't think it'll be Carvalho - we don't really deal with his (Mourinho's) agent, and I believe he has some third party ownership shenanigans too.

Speaking of Mourinho, has anyone seen Cesc lately? Fucking hell. He's spent a few days with a Sith Lord for his head coach and it's already physically affecting him.

So we've officially signed David Ospina from Nice for 3 million. Not seen much of him other than the World Cup tbh but he seemed pretty decent in that. Hopefully we can now move on to a DM and sorting out the Vermaelen situation.

I wonder if the Rodríguez move to Real will mean some of their players are now available?

Great signing, potentially, but it seems a bit of a weird move for him. Surely he could get first team football at plenty of clubs? It's good to have someone to push Szczesny though, he was always at his best when Fabianski was in one of his spells where he looked decent.

Nah he was just the most obvious candidate against Boreham Wood. Next club captain will either be Arteta or Mertesacker. Personally I'd give it to Per as he's got more years left in him than Arteta.

Captain is irrelevant other than for coin tosses and swapping pennants - players should not demonstrate more or less leadership to each other by virtue that they wear the armband (or not).

Ideally you want several captains on the pitch taking the lead and organising the quieter players who need a push.

I don't follow any of them but they get retweeted so much they're always popping up on my timeline and I just don't get it; how stupid to people have to actually be to fall for this shite?

I'm all for transfer speculation, but if I see one more cunt on twitter use the phrase "Confirmed." with that exact punctuation like it's some kind of fucking Masonic agent code, saying that a transfer has been done in secret but handily, only the special agent on twitter and the player's step dad know about it, I'm gonna do someone a fucking mischief.

I honestly don't know what it is though. I thought he was the "ITK" that came out and 'revealed', like it was some fuckinh mystery, that he was in fact a 16 year old on study leave or some shit. I have no idea what you're on about, I'm not on Twitter. I read on the Guardian that we had signed Ospina, not in a rumour kind of way but more along the lines of similar stuff is been reading about Debuchy. It looks like we haven't signed him as a back up/competition for Szczęsny? Not sure what you're so worked about tbh

Not sure if they'll sell Schneiderlin now. William Carvalho talk isn't dying down which I find surprising, but we'll have to see.

It does seem like we've signed four players before the end of July, so Arsène ain't fucking around. Wonder what Chambers' arrival means for Jenks.

Shocked by chambers, haven't really seen him play. Happy Arsene doesn't seem to be messing around this transfer window and no one saw chambers happening. Dunno if we will get schneiderlin now but I can't say I'm disappointed with our transfer dealings so far.
