Um...Did we just start looking at third? I think I might have just glanced at third, but it's a bit like when a pretty girl meets your gaze when you didn't know you were looking.

Sunderland and Crystal Palace are lovely teams, whatever. Even if Nasri is a twat.

Why hasn't Wenger played Podolski up front? To me, he seems like one of the best finishers in the league.

He has a few times. Podolski was shit at it, as he has been every other time he's played there.

He punishes mistakes emphatically, but that's pretty much all he does.

He doesn't really make runs and isn't very good with his back to goal either. Basically if the ball finds him in space then he'll bury it, but that's about the limit of it.

I suspect he'd work a bit better in a 4-4-2 but Wenger is always very reluctant to change formation.

Okay, I've made up my mind about Podolski. We should definitely keep him for next season, but more importantly, play a formation that gets him in the box with the ball.

Also, these goals are doing wonders for our goal difference which might be a factor in whether we or Everton get to play in the CL next year.

If Wenger is going, and I still think he is, I really hope decisions are being made behind the scenes. If Man Utd, Spurs and us are all looking to hire a manager and they've got a headstart, it's not good.

And Barcelona (maybe).

There is a rumour I heard on the internet(so yeah) that we might have already lined up van gaal. It's all very flimsy and seems purely based on Brady leaving as head of youth development and us bringing in jonker as his replacement.

Who has worked with van gaal at Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the past.

As I said all very flimsy.

Steve always wanted Moyes at Arsenal, so should be quite excited to see that he might be available.

I thought he could do a job at Arsenal and the pressure would have been far less at Arsenal and he would have been given time to do his thing. The mess Fergie left him at United was a disgrace. Fergie knew when to bail out and unfortunately Moyes gets the blame for the ancient dinosaur defence and squad that he has been left with.

Of course it's absolutely impossible for him to be considered for a top job in England for a while.

Speaking of managers leaving, Wenger will go at the end of the season. He's not a well man and this should be announced after the cup final.

Where did you hear this?

I've actually heard it from two sources. A player & an agent (not connected to the same player).

But just look at Wenger. He's gaunt looking and has has had drastic weight loss. There's an outside chance he will stubbornly stay on of course, but he doesn't need to do it any more. He knows it too which is why he's not expected to be our manager next season.

Can't say I'm seeing this "drastic weight loss" tbh. He's always been a lanky fucker.

That said, he can't have enjoyed the job much in the last couple of years. When we were 1-0 down against Wigan you could see the anguish, it was pretty horrible tbh. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he stepped down at the end of the season, but then I wouldn't be that shocked if he signed on for another couple of years either, if he thinks he can sign a midfielder and a couple of forwards and really push on.

Mystic Steve giving us some classic Horoscope shit here:

"He's leaving. But might stay."

About a man who is out of contract in a few weeks but the club announced months ago they want him to stay.

In other news, Steve's sources have said that that Cup Final will be 90 minutes long, but could be 120 minutes.
