Giving the ball away cheaply and getting hit on the counter is about as funny as our previous susceptibility to set pieces and the years we couldn't cope getting roughed up. Has any team in history ever had such obvious flaws as us? Oppo managers must love us.

Much better second half. Cazorla was running things for us in the 2nd half. Shame we started so slowy as we always seem to. Really need some pace in this team. And more than anything we need to get some players off the treatment table

Cazorla has been loads better today.

Was about to post the same thing. Thought he was fantastic in the second half, beating players all over the pitch and drawing loads of fouls.

Pity to give up such a cheap goal because after the first 15 minutes I didn't think City offered much. And Podolski could have won it. Pleased with that performance after the horrorshow of the last week.

A cracking ball right at the end as well to the edge of the area to....Gibbs?

I think we needed to win that for anything spectacular to happen with the season, but in the second half they really showed that they'd been able to have a nice lunch.

Yeah, seen them given a lot this year, but they all cheaty.

I dont think of it as refs ballsing up (tho of course they can do) but prefer to see how impossible their job is being made by players constantly cheating and forcing them to make decisions, the standard of diving (if you want to call it for what it is) is really very high.

Everton won which makes next weeks game HUGE.

As long as we play like we did in the second half yesterday then we should be ok. I liked how they rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in rather than waving their arseholes in the air like they did at Stamford Bridge.

I'd give them, personally. It's crap defending, either make a proper challenge or stand back until you can.

This is an interesting read from one of the Arsenal fan sites (emailed to me by the lone fellow football fan in my office, who is a Gooner):

EDIT: Might as well provide some context: A physio's reasoning as to why you seem to suffer with injuries. I thought it was very informative.

His name is Abou,

ahhh

Abou Diaby

oohh

He's a lovely person

And a very good player

I won't rest until that's sung as loudly as Santi's chant.

We had a Diaby, the wheel fell off
