Nah to be fair he went for Higuain, then got wind that he could get Suarez (lol) and willingly diverted attention to him instead. It's not like he didn't make any effort to get another CF better than Giroud.

That said, he obviously didn't try that hard because my phone never rang and nor did my mum's LOL

What are we thinking for tonight then? Gnabry, Sanogo and Flamini to come in maybe? Koscielny is out for the dreaded 2-3 weeks of course.

There's been some suggestion that Szczesny is going to be dropped. If it's true then I suspect it's more about the stupid selfie thing (after nearly gifting Spurs a goal, don't forget), rather than his performance at Chelsea, where he wasn't really at fault for most of the goals.

You know when in a morning you're tired and you can't be bothered to go to work, but you get up and then without any real conscious thought you get across roads and on trains and end up at work just because you've done it so many times? That's how Arsenal are now playing. They're trained enough to play Like Arsenal so they're never going to look that bad, but there's nothing beyond that.

It's really bad.

It's obviously partly injuries as even ignoring the lack of options there's no real fighting for places and not a lot of freshness available...But still. Yes. I don't even know where the wheels are meant to be these days.

It's quite hard to put it down to anything other than tiredness on their part, but actually having another player standing somewhere other than 5 yards further forward than the centre circle did help a bit too.

EDIT: Bringing on a player to strengthen central midfield now, don't worry.
