I agree that the transition play is a mess and there's a huge gap between defence and attack. Just suggesting that could be alleviated with width because atm the passing angles are easily cut off.

It's not you. We've made many a team look ordinary in the first 45 mins of a match and every time it's always because they are playing terribly, rather than Southampton being good.

Needed 3 points from that given the fixtures in Feb/March. On the plus side Ozil looked very good at points in the 2nd half, love the way he just drifts by players. Hopefully Wilshere or Ramsey will be back next match and this is the last of Arteta and Flamini playing together we'll see this year.

Thought he was OK defending but attacking he was terrible. That one he blasted wide was criminal.

Very lucky to get a point on the back of that first half performance and there's no great loss in Flamini missing 3 games. Ozil was excellent and Arteta was good as well. We can batter Pulis FC at the weekend and forget about tonight.
