What I find more annoying is that they sling abuse and objects at a player and then get their little knickers in a twist when in turn the player simply indicates to them the score with his hand. The thin skinned idiots.

Yeah I thought his gesture was excellent, they could hardly show his reaction because all you can see is grown men giving him the wanker sign. Crazy.

Don't think this will change anything personally. Giroud will have had two weeks off by the time the Villa game comes around, and both Bendtner and Walcott will hopefully be available at Anfield. Unless Giroud gets injured I think we'll use him for the remaining league games this month, with Podolski and Gnabry as backup. There's an obvious opportunity to rest Giroud against Coventry, and possibly Fulham at home too. Sagna is the other guy who obviously needs a rest, so I wouldn't expect him to play in either of those games.

With any luck by the time the super-tough run of games in February kicks off, we'll have Ramsey, Walcott, Bendtner and Oxlade-Chamberlain all available. With Bendtner and Walcott not being out for too long, I can't see us signing anyone in January unless Giroud gets injured too.

Gotta hand it to Bendtner. He's gone from being an absolute joke to a real member of the squad.

I'm not getting too carried away, he's not quite the player he thinks he is but he's an actual option now. Him getting injured is actually a problem.

If he's not careful he's gonna turn into some sort of cult hero. That's if he hasn't already.

Would never have thought this, even just a couple of months ago.

Do you think that perhaps being loaned out a couple of times has woken him up a bit? I felt quite sorry for him last season at Juve, in the games he played you could really see he was trying and his approach play was fine, but every time he got to the point of shooting he fluffed it.

He's looked very poor there pretty much whenever he's played there (which to be fair isn't often). He doesn't make any runs of note but also doesn't hold the ball up well with his back to goal. He's much better on the left in a single striker system, though I could see him doing ok as part of a front two.

The other issue with him is Arsene, quite rightly, doesn't like playing him if Walcott is on the opposite flank, as then you have two direct wide men who don't track back very well, and a lack of guile on both flanks. Consequently Poldi doesn't play all that often from the start. With Theo out for a few weeks though I expect we'll see him more, with Cazorla/Rosicky/Wilshere/Gnabry on the right.

You would think so but when he came back from his loans he seemed totally uninterested in being an actual footballer. By this I mean he was turning down offers of actually playing football from clubs left right and centre.

After being told he doesn't have a future at Arsenal and he can leave he seemed happy enough to just turn up for training, collect his money and never be in any 1st team squads.

He would come out with some crazy stuff in the meantime too. Stuff like how he sees his next club as being Barca or maybe Real.

Weren't sure if he was just taking the piss and secretly laughing at the attention his crazy remarks were getting or if he really was that delusional.

Like I said though, he did get a way back via the League Cup and he was absolutely shocking. However, since his surprise start and goal against Hull he hasn't looked back.

As I recall, he said nothing of the sort

Yeah, it went something like:

"Nikolas, what do you think about OJ Simpson?"

"Yeah, terrible guy."

"And if you were offered a contract to play for Real or Barca, would you take it?"

"Of course, if I was free."

"NIKOLAS BENDTNER THINKS HE SHOULD BE PLAYING FOR BARCA OR REAL AND HATES BLACK PEOPLE"

such a shame as he is such an outlet for us. A striker is a must now as after Theo's performance the other day you could've argued he was an option up front. Now we won't see him until next season and we are seriously short. Ox won't be back to full sharpness for a while aswell, Gnabry should get a run now too.
