even the same players shifted around would be better - what about walcott thru middle, cazorla on right and podolski left ? far better balance to it

plus I'm not buying tiredness - all our front line and midfield have had long term injury rests this season so haven't been flat out since August, like others

From Tim Stillman on Twitter: "About a minute before the 1st goal AW went 4-4-2 and told Walcott to play next to Bendtner. Proved to be key for Bendtner's goal."

I couldn't tell as my feed was dropping out so much at the end but does this mean that Wenger is being more tactically flexible? Is this something we might see more of?

Eh, I just thought their defensive effort to hold out for 89 minutes was probably deserving enough for a point but anyway, fuck those Cardiffians.

That's three league games in a row now where we've managed to find a result despite playing pretty poorly. Good job this spate of injuries has occurred just as we have a run of games against bottom-half teams, although if Bendtner's out now too, on today's evidence we're going to really struggle with Podolski leading the line.

@Wrighty_8 pointed out we'd had a few balls successfully played inside their right centre back. I think Wenger noticed we were having joy there and told Walcott to look for that space.
