So you guys who are saying that the ball travelled a long way and then hit his thigh and then his arm - to me that is still deliberate. He has failed to control the ball and left his arm in a blocking position. That's his own fault.

The loss was galling at the time, but now that I've had time to reflect and review this thread, I think I'm even more annoyed.

- WTF is up with Toure's challenge on Giroud?

- Handball miss (he positioned himself that way).

- Onside goals.

- Must win Champions league match fixture

- 60 hour turn around.

- Milner = diving twat.

A win was never going to happen, was it? And to top it off I have to listen to my city mate harp on about how superior they are when I can't find a single example in the match of an important call that could've gonna City's way but didn't. It's easier to accept when the ref gets calls wrong for both teams, but again I can't find an example of that.

Our defence was sloppy, our midfield tired and our (lone) forward misfired but I don't think the gap is as big between these two teams as all the articles I've read seem to be claiming.

Hopefully the boys pick themselves up for Chelsea. I want us to smash them hard.

So rather than move his arm out of the way he moved his knee to intercept. he took a risk and personally it shouldn't have paid off as it hit off his knee and onto his arm. The ball traveled a good distance so even though he didn't intentionally handball, he denied walcott getting the ball. When defenders jump for the ball and they accidentally miss the ball and it hits their hand it's a pen. Earlier in the game today The city fans were screaming for a pen for handball against flamini. The difference being he moved his arm out of the way and the ball hit his chest.

Surprised more hasn't been made of this. https://vine.co/v/h2IlOxJE1x1

Filthy.

Its been well established that you have no fucking clue what-so-ever, about anything to do with football.

It's called discussing. In a self indulgent football fan way, in our dedicated thread and rightly or wrongly. You can be a wind up but you have a fair point on most of this, IMO. I will say that. You know how it's supposed to work on here. Shall we leave it there?

<_< that was way too grown up and diplomatic.

Pretty reasonable post on le-grove today, which is normally pretty negative and anti-Arsene. Basically saying the majority of the goals we shipped were because of individual errors caused by fatigue due to the run of games, crazy schedule and lack of rotation and I think he's right. It's pretty amazing that given how badly we played and how good Man City looked going forward the scoreline was basically 5-4 give or take a couple of incorrect officiating decisions.

I can see Bayern putting you out of the UCL but of those other fixtures I think the only ones that should really concern you are Liverpool and City.

Looks like Wilshere will be banned for the Chelsea game. Hardly the end of the world; there's not a chance in hell he'd have started after his performance on Saturday. Please let us never use him on the left ever again.

Classic FA though, charging Jack while Toure gets away scot free for that horrendous foul on Giroud.

It's the usual bollox isn't it, the referee saw it and did nothing so they can't revisit it.

Any word on the Koscielny injury?

They changed their policies recently though I thought, so that they COULD look again at stuff where the officials hadn't dealt with it properly. They won't with the Toure one though because there wasn't a big media fuss about it. That's basically what it comes down to.

Koscielny is out for 2-3 weeks I believe.

So Wilshere's 2 game ban is upheld which means he'll miss the Chelsea & West Ham games.

Suarez got a one game ban for the same thing while Rooney got a three game ban for swearing down the Camera.

Wonder what the next person will get
