I just really dislike Walcott

He offers us something different and can be a very useful outball with his running in behind. He can be extremely frustrating (heaven knows I've slagged him off plenty in here), but his first touch seems to have improved recently and he's technically better than a lot of people give him credit for.

I still think he'd generally be in our best XI in theory, depending perhaps on the nature of the game (ie, whether it might be beneficial to sometimes play the same XI as last night, but with Cazorla instead of Rosicky).

Walcott could improve his game ten-fold if he would cut inside a bit more before shooting. I swear 90% of his shots are from the same spot just inside the penalty area, with the vast majority going straight at the keeper.

In other news, after Pires was doing some work last week, Thierry Henry is now also training at Colney.

Big Sol's been down there too getting his coaching badges. Wonder if it's any coincidence that we're playing the best football since The Invincibles (ignoring 2008) with 3 of them involved in training?

Regarding smoking, who cares? Many international-rated players such as Ashley Cole, Balotelli, Rooney, Berbatov etc have been papped having a cheeky one.

As long as it's not the half-time fag a la Stanley Matthews or impedes drastically on their health, I don't see the problem really.

Much ado about nothing. The squad went for a sanctioned night out after the Napoli game, and plenty of non-smokers will have a fag when they've had a few drinks. And even if he does smoke for reals, it didn't do Zidane or Cruyff much harm. That said, I'd rather he didn't do it of course, and I'm sure Wenger would too.

We're clearly not playing well here but the ref is being a proper bell end. Great defending from WBA today, sitting deep and doubling up on our dangerous players. We need to change things up a bit next half, maybe play a bit more patient and invite them onto us.

Ref. has been poor for both sides. Wilshire is having a 'mare and I knew he was going to be booked at some stage. Giroud, Ozil and Ramset look good, fullbacks are pushing up well and Szcz made a fantastic save at 0-0.

Taking off Ramsey for Rosicky seemed like a bizarre choice since Wilshere wasn't playing brilliantly, and Ramsey's been a constant goal threat all season... then Wilshere scores!

I think Wenger must have made some kind of deal with the devil, he knows all before it happens.

Spurs 0-2 down, a win for us would be pretty nice right now, even if a draw is probably the "fair" result (and they probably seem the more likely to score).
