Hard to pick a MOTM out of Giroud, Ozil & Ramsey.

Loved the way Ramsey & Ozil where chopping and changing between left and right. Giroud's hold up play was excellent too.

I haven't felt this optimistic about Arsenal in ages. Still feels like we can get better too.

I agree with every single word. I think Flamini was great again too, he's just what we needed. He's not an amazing footballer, particularly, but the way he goes at it is superb. The bloke is perpetual motion and he understand his role perfectly.

I'm so bloody happy to see people finally spotting what Giroud brings to this team, let alone that Wenger has now adapted a system that actual works in the handsome bastards favour. A few of us spotted his movement last year, but the overall noise was that he "wasn't good enough" because he didn't come across as a "20 goals a season" type player. I agree, he's probably not going to net 20 goals a season every season for Arsenal, but he brings every other attacking minded player in the team into play just from his ability to make the opposition actually think about where he's going.

Whilst I wouldn't mind a forward who scores 30 goals in a season, one who scores 20 and helps create another 10 is just as good.

What's so exciting about this period is how everyone is pretty much everyone undroppable on current form so the traditional first team regulars like Theo and Santi will have to perform better to break into the team again, which will in turn raise the games of the people currently playing. The only one that wouldn't affect would be Giroud and yet he's playing out of his skin every week.

Yes, still early, but we look so much better than we have done for years.

Don't think there was much doubt before but now there can surely be no doubt that in Ozil we've got a truly world class player.

I really hope we push on from this and spend some money and add more class players in January as I really believe we are at a crossroads and if we play our cards right we could be at the beginning of some exciting times.

Also, Giroud is proving to be an excellent striker. His running off the ball to create space for Ozil and then spinning and running towards his favourite scoring position at the near post was just fantastic.

Finally, apart from Ozil, show me a better signing than Flaminin that anyone made this transfer window. Seriously, call it luck, right place right time, by accident or whatever. Signing Flamini could turn out to be an incredible bit of business.

Saw tonight that Igor Akinfeev (remember him? I believe we were going to sign him for about 28 summers in a row) set a new Champion's League record, conceding in 17 games in a row... Lucky escape!

I think it's a bit soon to be thinking about adding to the squad, Lucky. There's literally nothing we can do until January, so we may as well see where we are in December before worrying about what we need. At this exact moment in time we don't need a thing

I'm not saying we need to add to the squad now, as of course we can't like you say, I just think we need to build on this mentality of being the real deal. Build on this and keep the momentum going.

I know it's ridiculously early but I really feel we could be on the tip of big things.

The signing of Ozil has given the whole club a huge lift. The players look like they've suddenly realised that we can be leaders rather than also rans.

More of the same in January could really make things happen.

The fact that we have our record is played 22, won 19, drawn 2 and lost one. The mentality has changed. We look strong all over the pitch. The real test will be when we next lose and how we respond to it. Obv we responded fantastically to losing to villa so here's hoping.

More injury updates!

Sagna - hamstring, doubtful for West Brom

Cazorla - Still not ready (tactic to keep him out of the forthcoming Spain games?) Should return for Norwich

Walcott - 3-4 weeks

Podolski - 3-4 weeks

Ox - 6-7 weeks

Diaby - cremation and memorial service next Tuesday

Possible team for West Brom: Szczesny - Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs - Flamini, Ramsey - Gnabry, Ozil, Wilshere - Giroud

Bench of Fabianski, Monreal, Vermaelen, Arteta, Rosicky, Ryo, Bendtner

Another option would be to play the same team as vs Napoli (with either Wilshere or Rosicky), but personally I'm not sure that Arteta-Flamini double pivot needs to really be deployed in a game like this. Nice option to have in the big games though, with Ramsey/Ozil/Cazorla interchanging further forward.

Here's hoping Gibbs carries on his good form, because Amalfitano looks a handful and has got a hell of a lot of successful crosses in so far.
