I thought Arteta would have suited the game yesterday more than Flamini tbh, he would have helped retain possession a bit better. Agree Flamini has been a very good signing though.

Just need a forward, ideally one who can also play wide, and it's a very good squad. The spirit and mentality is there too, which is something that was obviously lacking in recent years.

I think Wenger has always had spirit. What's different this year to previous recent years is fans belief and enthusiasm.

I was referring to the spirit of the players. There is an ability to come back from setbacks that wasn't there before; a couple of years ago we'd almost certainly have conceded a 92nd minute equaliser to Swansea and then gone into a funk and dropped points in the following games too. This squad doesn't seem as prone to those issues.

I like how everyone keeps talking Spurs up while also saying we haven't played anyone decent. If we win this will Napoli also become retrospectively crap?

In terms of the squad or performances?

I thought Spurs were as lucky as Liverpool to pick up so many points in the first few games. They've been better in the last couple admittedly.

Have only been able to follow this on text. BBC have us down for 69% possession that half which is incredible considering how we're playing.

Hopefully we don't take our foot off the pedal and can see this out. Would put us in a fantastic position to qualify.

Mentioned it on here a while ago... just saying Ozil wasn't any cop because he'd seen him a few times and was rubbish. Not what we needed apparently, and completely ignored the assists stats, etc based on the above 'I've seen him and he's not very good' logic...

He's a nice enough guy, just got some very strange views on football!
