Such a strange comment - why wouldn't you want your own team to win? Win tomorrow and you're two off the top.

Haha, we get laughed at for thinking we might have a shot and questioned when we're realistic.

I'm with Dino here (I feel dirty now), if I want another team to win the league, it would be Arsenal.

Interesting to see how things have shifted this season. Yesterday was another game where we didn't play as much of a possession game, I think we have 42%, which seems pretty typical this season. Less shots on goal average than last season too but look at the results...

Swansea ran rings around us in the first half. Not sure what he said at half time, but we soon started pinging it around like I remember we used to play. Sadly (although to Swansea's credit), we dropped back down to 3rd gear, job done, and got caught with a magnificent chip over the defense, which is also ye olde arsenal.

Ramsey is obviously grabbing the plaudits at the moment but I think as big a factor in our start is Flamini, he's possibly one of the most significant signings any team made in the window in terms of what he's bought to a team that was lacking.

I loved his cynical yellow card foul to stop a Swansea counter yesterday (think we were up at the time) and just the general solidity and communication he's bought to the field.

Wenger is winding back the clock, we used to start well like this a few years back, before getting to Nov, playing the bigs teams, then falling off !

Very odd season so far though so wouldn't necessarily rule us out of a tilt yet as nobody is looking consistent yet and getting away.

I don't believe we've got what it takes to challenge this year. It's a catch-22 for us. Players we've wanted have mostly gone elsewhere. So if I want someone else to win the league it will be Arsenal.

I respect Wenger and like Arsenal as a team - and breaking up the Manchester/Chelsea wins of recent times would be good for the league.

I think Wenger deserves it for everything he's put up with. Imagine a manager who's not been backed by his board properly for years. Yet had consistently got the best out of what he's had, and at no point does he go moaning about it (from what I can recall anyway).

Arsenal have also been building a team, with a mixture of youth and experience now - and some decent British talent in Walcott, Ramsay, Wilshire, Jenkinson, Gibbs. Where as Spurs, who would of course be a very different name on the trophy, seem to have been far more "buy all the players".

I know which I will support.

I thought Arteta would have suited the game yesterday more than Flamini tbh, he would have helped retain possession a bit better. Agree Flamini has been a very good signing though.

Just need a forward, ideally one who can also play wide, and it's a very good squad. The spirit and mentality is there too, which is something that was obviously lacking in recent years.
