Kinda shit Per played 120 mins last night, but then again he missed the Sunderland game.

Even though I'm not his biggest fan (more his attitude than his ability), I think we're going to miss Walcott quite a bit. Gnabry is obviously a promising player and did alright against Stoke, but he doesn't play RW the same way Theo does.

A little gutted we've been drawn with Chelsea in the COC.

We either go into the game pretty much the same as yesterday, mostly reserves, and give ourselves hardly any chance or we abandon the COC youth project for this season and go into the game with mostly first team players. This obviously increases the chance of injuries/tiredness to first teamers which we could so do without, especially looking at those fixtures above. It's also a shame as players such as Zelalem don't get a run out.

I would be tempted to go with mostly a first team with just two or three youngsters maybe.

Personally I would like to beat Chelsea as many times as possible this season. So send the first team.

On the other hand I don't think we've got the depth to compete in every competition. So send the kids back out. We win and it's all good, lose and it's one less competition to worry about.

Also Ozil has a passing resemblance to Vincent Cassel.

The 'COC Youth Project' isn't really a thing anymore though is it? Not if we're playing someone decent anyway. Without so many injuries we'd never have played the team we did against West Brom; you'd have had Podolski, Ox and Rosicky in rather than Ryo, Hayden and Eisfeld.

Injury updates!

Ramsey - slight thigh strain, should be fine for tomorrow

Flamini - shoulder, as above

Rosicky - back in full training on Monday, could be in the squad for Napoli

Cazorla - 1-2 weeks

Walcott - 3-5 weeks :(

Podolski - 3-5 weeks

Ox - 6 weeks

Diaby - passed away in the night

I guess tomorrow we'll see the same old team of Szczesny - Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs - Flamini, Ramsey - Gnabry, Ozil, Wilshere - Giroud

Bench of Fabianski, Jenkinson, Monreal, Vermaelen, Arteta, Ryo, Bendtner

How long these same 11 players are going to be able to keep getting results I don't know. Hopefully we can go a couple more weeks without any new injuries, and then with Rosicky, Arteta and Cazorla back we'll have a few more options to rotate.
