Apparently (and when I say that, I mean according to Twitter) this is the team.

Team Tonight; Mannone, Jenks, Per, TV, Gibbs, Arteta, Coq, Cazorla, Podolski, Gerv, Giroud. Ox on the bench.”

I like. Keep things strong, keep the momentum going, beat City on Sunday and chongololo may aswell start planning what to spend his winnings on.

Plus its League Cup next midweek, the fuckers can rest then.

Walcott notable by his absence again. From the stuff Wenger was saying*, it really gives the impression Walcott is being a massive, massive dickhead and if we'd have got an offer he'd have gone. I really can't see him being here next season.

Arsene, take note:

Impersonator

Smashing story from Italy now in case you missed it over the weekend.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi, as is apparently de rigeur for Italian football figures, is currently serving a six-month stadium ban for his involvement in cheating and match-fixing skullduggery, dating all the way back to 2004.

Preziosi was also sentenced to four months in prison and fined 400 Euros, and banned from entering any gambling establishments for the same six months.

He is already under investigation for violating that ban, after being spotted at Genoa's game against Cagliari on August 26, so with Serie A champions Juventus visiting on Sunday, he at least had to have a representative there.

And he did. A cardboard cut-out of himself, sat proudly in the directors' box. Have a look here.

Beats hiding out in a laundry basket though, eh?"

Looks like Theo's in trouble then. Wenger's on the right lines though. If we've said we won't budge and he's trying to call our bluff, then we shouldn't play him.

He's far from indispensible to this team and if he's happy to leave, should anybody come in for him, then he can sit on the bench while he waits.

Jenkinson is doing ok, he is still the weak link and teams no it. But I kinda like his old school attitude and for a 20yr old, has the makings of a very good defender. After going 1 down I was t worried at all. I said to the gf that it'd be 1-2 to us by half time. Can't remember when I last felt confident about arsenal! It's a good feeling!

I suspect it's gone a bit now.
