I see people are getting into a big flap about Sagna's interview in L'Equipe. Personally I think some of his comments are pretty ill-judged coming three games into a new season. How about you wait and see how we get on before you start saying losing Alex Song is the worst thing in the history of the world, eh?

As for his contract, he's 29 and is coming back from breaking his leg again in pretty much the same place he broke it last year. I don't think it's odd that the club might want to see how he gets on first before talking about a new deal on improved terms.

Hope for the Bender fans!

Wenger believes Bendtner, who impressed for Denmark at Euro 2012, will show his true colours in Serie A and has refused to rule out the prospect of him leading Arsenal's line at some point in the future.

"He can do well in Italy," the Gunners boss told Corriere dello Sport.

"He's a top player for me, but he's had difficulties here. You can't doubt the player's value though.

"We believe in him and that is why we only gave him to Juventus on loan.

"I think he can resolve his problems with us and prove himself. We believe in him."

I can't really see it though.

So no Walcott, Giroud or Diaby this week. To add to Chesney, Rosicky, Wilshere, Sagna and Frimpong. Anyone getting that Groundhog Day feeling? Again?

There's still tonight to get through too.

If there's a God, that c*nt who fucked off to the Mancs will get injured soon. Preferably tonight.
