Arsenal

Makes you wonder why neither United or Chelsea have tabled bids if he's as you describe.

because Fergie is allergic to signing midfielders and Chelsea have signed Oscar. There are many great players around does not mean every team signs/bids for them? Also he is 27/28 I think.

He's essentially half price, no?

Malaga situation is completely BIZARRE! No idea what is going on there they are owned by a sugar daddy but have not paid wages for some players and several board members resigned. the only way this will be resolved if owne drops another 100mil or so to clear debts and add to the squad.

By the sounds of things Cazorla's had enough whatever happens. He hasn't been paid and even if they decide to pay him now, the chances are it's going to happen again, and so he wants out. I would take with a pinch of salt any suggestion that he's been in discussions with Arsenal though, I like to think that that's the kind of behaviour that lesser teams get up to (unless Malaga have already decided to sell), though there's a pretty good chance he had some contact with Wenger last summer and so he knows Arsenal are the club for him. Either way, the most important thing is that we beat Malaysia XI in a pre-season friendly and thus are bound to win the league.

He played all over the shop for Malaga last season. He can play anywhere in midfield really, like a lot of the Spanish midgets around atm.

Good signing if it happens then. With Jack out injured and Cesc and Nasri both gone I feel like play maker is the one area we are lacking. We lost out on Mata and Hazard so hopefully we can grab this guy.

Not sure Al-Thani is that mad, although Gulf royalty don't exactly have a reputation for mental stability. His strop seems to be over Spain not revising La Liga's distribution deal as it seems they had agreed too - he has a point, it's obscene.

Anyway, Cazorla - yes please. Real were after him a few years back and he very publicly turned them down which I find wildly endearing. What I've seen of him he looks outstanding, it seems he wants a move to Arsenal which might explain why others aren't in for him.

Even more important than that, The Fox said on Twitter he would eat his balls if we signed Cazorla.

I didn't know Malaga had proper gone tits up though. :(

Still if he does sign (lol), at least I can eat them with a smile on my face.

Note to Van Persie: This is how it's fucking done. Some quotes from Thierry (Henry)

"I would like to go back to England with Arsenal for sure," Henry said when asked about a second loan stint with the Gunners.

"I wasn't planning to go back to play last season. It was only because Gervinho and (Marouane) Chamakh went to the African Nations Cup.

"I was there to train and they asked me if I wanted to play. Who knows what might happen in the future?

"I've not yet spoken to Arsene (Wenger) about it so I don't know what capacity I could go back in.

"Coaching does interest me but I don't know what my talent is going to be after I have finished my career. But I will go back to Arsenal."

Can you imagine a management/coaching team of Bergkamp and Henry? Oh boy.

That bit of last season was just amazing. His goal against Leeds is almost certainly my favourite Arsenal goal - it's not in Henry's top 10 (let alone everyone's) for actual quality, but in terms of pure aceness it is miles ahead.

I also dislike Leeds quite passionately. That helps.
