How on earth did Santos get his own unique sponsor? And why didn't he stick it on straight?

According to the Guardian we're buying Jovetic for £30m. The question is, how well will he work with Villa? 48 hours has passed, so I assume he's already signed.

So the wildly unlikely rumour circulating at the moment courtesy of Sky Sports is that RVP is going to sign a contract extension. If true he will have 'done a Rooney' in the parlance of our time.

Wenger's promised him that Arsenal are signing a world class, 30-goal-a-season centre forward. When Van Persie puts pen to paper Arsene will pop out from behind a tall plant in the corner, Jeremy Beadle style, and reveal that getting Van Persie to stay is like a new signing.

Another episode in the hilarious hidden camera show, presented from a wheel chair by Emmanuel Frimpong. Members of the public are invited to perform innocuous seeming stretches and jogs, carefully designed by the Lewin brothers to cause knee ligaments to spontaneously combust.

Adrian Chiles visits the stars of this weeks You've been Frimponged in hospital, shoving his stupid fucking face through the curtains around their bed as they recover from initial exploratory surgery to ask inane questions and show replays of something the cameras caught that you probably noticed in the actual episode but are now apparently enlightened by the everyday wit of this fucking chump that now has to be involved in anything that involves a passing reference to football because some ITV directors got drunk one night and accidentally prank called the agent of Chiles and offered SIX FUCKING MILLION POUNDS to hire THE STUPID FUCK. Special guest Dynamo does a magic trick and one of those off The Only Way Is Essex looks blankly at the camera.

Director: The Prolapsed Anus of Christine Bleakley, 2012. Contains Chiles' face which some may find disturbing. Subtitles repeat nothing but "Nicklas Bendtner a total legend" in Albanian to entice Lorik Cana to join Arsenal.

on a serious note though, could Frimpong emerge this season as the midfield enforcer Arsenal have been missing since Viera?

(if not, can we have him on loan at Forest please? I don't think we can even put 11 players out at the moment)

Hilarious that Wenger effectively adds £100m to the squad's value by getting performance out of them that should, in theory, be beyond their capabilities.

Not so hilarious that if we'd even had a moderate net spend in the last few years, instead of negative all the fucking time, we'd be right in there (theoretically).

How expensive was it? I watched Aliens last night and they state that the ship from the first film cost $70 million, and that can travel at light speed and was huge. Seems to me like the Emirates was overpriced.
