It's 2am here and I had to watch the live tweets on the toilet seat as the missus said I was squirming too much in the bed!

Sucks that City won, purely because of that Nasri cunt, but I suppose that if you can beat United twice in a season, then you deserve the title. Honestly no idea of how they pulled it off.

Hopefully this means that we get to keep RVP...

That, plus we might be able to spend a little earlier (besides Podolski) what with not having CL qualification to worry about, and we don't have to support Bayern in the CL final for fear of missing out altogether...

Thank God that season's over and done with. Today was just horrendous for all concerned. We staggered over the line in the end which is what will go down in the record books, not that we got the runaround from West Brom. A competent job, satisfactorily done. Can't ask for more than that.

Mixed feelings about this season. If you look at it objectively, we lost our two most creative midfield players, our club Captain and talisman without adequately replacing either of them. We had our worst start to a PL season in living memory, lost 8-2 to Manchester United, and panic bought a load of players. Our defence has been consistently dodgy and only one of our players can score with any consistency. Yet, somehow, even with all of that we still finished third. The fact that we limped over the finish line has kind of soured that achievement though, especially as we should have had it wrapped up a few games ago.

I'm more hopeful for next season. We're in the CL and we won't have to qualify. We've already made a signing for next season and it's likely that the press will be concentrating on unsettling Gareth Bale all summer instead of RvP (although I could be very wrong about that), so we could very well keep our squad together for the first time in forever. Oxlade Chamberlain looks the real deal and Wilshere will hopefully be fit for next year. We're probably going to be getting rid of/letting go all of those players we farmed out on loan this year and, most important of all in my mind, Steve Bould is going to be the new AM, and if anyone can teach our team how to actually defend, it's him.

Well done Arsenal for grabbing third.

Certainly one of the moments of the season was Henry's return. Proper fairy tail stuff.

Also let's knock on the head all that rubbish about Wenger out/him not being up to it. He lost his club captain, the player that made you tick, and Nasri - and yet another 3rd place finish.

I'd hate to see Wenger leave the premier league anytime soon. The question is will there be spending this summer...and the other thing I won't mention...

Glad thats all over with, how we managed to scrap 3rd nthis season i'll never know.

Not having to worry about a champions league playoff is a nice little bonus. Hopefully means we will start planning and buying for next season right way, rather then have to wait till after the CL qualifiers before we can get our transfers sorted.

Musn't be too smug, relief would be a better word.

Oh and fuck Chelsea winning the big one. Come on Bayern. As they have proved, the spuds can fuck things up on their own.
