The whole image might be but the exact same kit has been doing the rounds in one form or another for the last week. And it's rank.

Yea. I mean the image is a fake I think but that picture has been doing the rounds for ages. Seems a bit too similar to the home kit. There's red and blue. What would we wear against Villa away?

Has Van Persie has been making sounds about staying if the squad was strong enough? I know Cesc always went on about that (he did have a point to be fair). If we bring in Podolski and M'vila it would call his bluff somewhat. I do hope he stays but the fact that he let his contract has run down to one year and he has Darren Dein as his agent suggest otherwise.

Good move if/when confirmed.

I wonder if we should just go the whole hog and also get Adams and Keown in, in some capacity.

Unlikely as this is not AW's style and maybe too many cooks and all that.....

Keown yes, Adams no - much as I love the guy he's not a coach/assistant/manager.

Bould will surely be a massive plus defensively, Keown would put the frighteners on the younger players in terms of being utterly demanding of them in a good way and Adams is such a hero that I'd love him at the Club but can't think of a sensible role. Even as an ambassador he'd likely put his foot in it more often than not. I think I'm resigned to holding him in the memory and never seeing him back at Arsenal again, massive shame but for the best. Please prove me wrong Tony.

Also, thanks Pat. For me, you'll always own the blue and yellow kit. The first player I think of when I see it.

Do you want the good news or the bad news?

Well the bad news is that Szczesny is injured. Not sure if he will miss the game but is a doubt.

Clint Dempsey is also injured so won't be available to face them.

There is no good news.
