On a train home out of Finsbury Park. Full of very, very angry & disappointed Gooners.

We didn't deserve 3 points today. Norwich could and should have been 4-1 up at half time.

Gibbs, Ramsey, Gervinho & Song all very weak in their positions. Absolutely fuming than no one covered Thomas's position for the second goal. No one talks to each other and we looked a shambles at times.

You can't expect Champions League football when you play as bad as we do for most of the season.

Wenger has to man up to this result. Another season has passed and we still leak goals to the point where we're likely not going to hit champ league not deserve it.

Where was he at 3-2 screaming for the team to play with some sort of shape? Nowhere

Been saying that for years. No leaders on the pitch either.

Shocking result, not alot that I can say that hasn't been said. Just a sad way to sign off at home but not unexpected. Too many players weren't up for it today which is shameful. We need a true enforcer in midfield. It was horrible to watch our non existent midfield for most of the game, they may have well have been in the stands with me as they were passengers for the majority of the match.

Not having Arteta has shown our midfield up big time. Without a dedicated possession player, we struggle to dominate games. If Jack/Arteta is missing, there is nobody else who can dictate the game with the ball. It's very unlikely Diaby will ever stay fit, Song can't decide if he should be a DM or an AM and I'm struggling to see where Ramsey fits in and what he offers our team.

I think Wenger has some big decisions about this team in the summer. We know the dead wood that needs getting rid of, but if we really want to push on, I think there are certain players who need replacing.

If Robin leaves, which I think he will signal he wants to, I think we could be in trouble. Whether we'll let him leave is another matter. Either way, it's going to be yet another tedious scenario where we fight to keep our star player/captain.

Is it just me or does Wenger tend to appoint the best player at the time captain? I admit I've put literally no thought into that comment, but yeah.

Sometimes I almost want us to drop out of the top 4 just because it would be a major kick in the ass, but then I think we'd probably spend even less because of the money lost. It's a shit situation. Is the stat I heard (we've never won a game when Arteta hasn't played) true?

Even if things go our way today - I think Newcastle will lose but Spurs win - I still can't see us beating West Brom.

I fully expect them both to lose so Wenger can talk about being in the driving seat all week and then, yeah, we fuck up at West Brom and end up fifth anyway.

Full credit to Danny Rose for a blatant shin high too footed tackle.

He actually got away with a fairly bad one against Bolton in the week too.

But getting back on topic, massive results went our way today. Next weekend is going to be fucking gut wrenching. Glad this seasons going to be over soon not sure how much more my nerves can take

If Chelsea beat Liverpool, we could finish anywhere from 3rd-6th on the last day, whereas if we'd won yesterday, third would be locked up. Great stuff. On the bright side, we should be thankful it's back in our hands.

Yeah, the sooner we can get into another Arsenal Summer Of Fun the better.

We are fucking rubbish without Arteta though eh? Ramsey really isn't cut out for that role, or, seemingly, any other role that Arsenal actually utilises in its midfield.

Alex Song is such a bellend too, with his constant Hollywood passing. But why does Arsene let him get away with it? The same failings, over and over. Afterwards Wenger was like "I think we took the opposition too lightly", which is about the seventeenth time he's said that after a game this season after dropping points against the 'lesser lights'. Why the fuck does it keep happening then, Arsene? Why did no one seem to call him up on it yesterday, when he's giving the exact same excuses he gave after we lost to Wigan? Why do his players struggle constantly for commitment and application in games everyone says they should win?

I can't believe how much we've come to rely on Arteta in such a short time. Equally I can't believe how the same players still refuse to track back when we lose possession. I know at the end of every season we say the same things about needing big changes in the team and it's attitude but now it feels more important than ever. I really think we're only 1 or 2 players away from a decent tilt at the title but equally we're only a couple of players away from finishing 6th or 7th.
