Koscielny, Szczesny, Sagna and Arteta have been literally the only other players to show any consistent form over the season.

I'd say Song's been pretty good too, he gets alot of stick for "going forward too much" but, aside from Wenger saying something about it earlier in the season, it appears he's been asked to play that role and as far as I'm aware he's provided a good chunk of assists this season.

Thats my point, Wengers commented on it publicly once, and that was very early in the season. Nothing has been said since, so how do we know that Wengers not looked at his contribution going forward and assigned him a similar role to what Diaby used to be expected to do rather than just sitting up and mopping up like he spent his breakthrough season doing?
