I imagine it will be Song, Ramsey and Rosicky, unless there's another injury i've missed? Ridiculous that three of our new major signings have all gone down with serious ankle injuries.

I'm back in pessimistic mood!

something in training is making these players more susceptible to injuries on the pitch.

Well why are you dawdling around here, Professor?! You must alert Arsenal's team of highly experienced, world class medical professionals of this startling discovery, and for God's sake, hurry! You're these player's only hope.

He has a point though. Our (West Ham) training pitches at Chadwell Heath have long been mooted as the cause as to why we have so many soft tissue injuries. Apparently they're like concrete but the club are too tight to replace them.

I'm not for one second comparing Arsenal to our frankly, two-bob operation, but there has to be some root to all the injuries you seem to get?

Oh, and please, please finish above the Spuds; I need something to taunt them about and I've obviously got nothing from my own teams end :(

Yeah the pelters Ramsey takes are ridiculous. It's like they always have to have one player to constantly rag on, and for some reason he's that guy this season.

Presumably they'll do the same to Wilshere when, after a year out injured and asked to play No10, he invariably struggles next season.

To be honest, I've not been aware of that. Aside from people mentioning the fact that he hasn't really played well. I do think that he overplays sometimes, he doesn't do the simple things well IMO. I don't think he thinks he's big time or anything but he's gone backwards a bit. When/if everyone is fit I'd struggle to find a spot for him right now.

I think Ramsey did pretty well when he first started to break into the team (before he got his leg broken). Even when he regained fitness and broke in again, towards the end of last season, he looked good again. He started this season off pretty well too. Him, Song and Arteta were the obvious three in there, especially with Wilshere missing.

Ever since Arteta became our main CM, Rosicky made his comeback, and Benayoun & even AOC became options in the middle Ramsey hasn't handled the competition well at all. Imagine if Diaby could stay fit for 5 minutes.

Instead of pushing him on, like what AOC has done to Theo, he seems to try too hard now and as the Dude said above he is doing the simple things wrong let alone the hard things. Everyone fit he certainly wouldn't be in the first 11.

He's missed a fair few chances recently and he always seems to make the wrong choices when passing the ball.

There's hope for him yet, but he looks like he really needs a break, a good pre-season and to come back with his head cleared.

As for Gervinho.................................not sure where to start.

I think we'll be ok. I'd rather be where we are in the table without Arteta, than with him and in Chelsea's position. Spurs are bound to end this bad run of form and Newcastle look to be finishing strongly, so we can't afford to keep slipping up. A loss against Chelsea wouldn't be the end of the world, but there would be no margin for error afterwards. Koscielny being back should give us a huge boost.

It might be. If we lose to Chelsea and Spurs or Newcastle win all their remaining games, we finish fourth (or fifth).

Chelsea are worryingly close to skanking their way to the Champion's League, and if they do then fourth wouldn't be high enough. Third is essential at this point, and we need to beat Chelsea. They might rest players though, because they have to assume that their best chance of Champion's League football next season is to win it this season.

Newcastle have some tough fixtures to go. Chelsea and Everton away, with Man City at home. There's no way they're getting 9 points there. Spurs' run in is easier and I fancy them still as our main rivals to 3rd/4th. You'd hope that the players realise the importance of finishing third this season and don't bottle it the way we did in the run in last year.

I think we might be another to have suffered by a plan to "improve" him. When he joined he was missing loads and loads of chances, but he was getting loads of chances. Now he's only missing a couple, because he's just not driving into the area and shooting as much. It does look entirely like we've cut out the only bit of the game he's really good at and now he just gets the ball and doesn't have a clue what he's meant to be doing.

I'm in the Ramsey will come good camp as well though, he's had an odd career so far - break in to Arsenal team, do well, get leg broken, come back, play every single game. Hopefully if he can get just a normal season under his wing next year he'll be fine.

According to the Forbes rich list we're worth £800m. That's 4th on the list with only Utd, Real & Barca ahead of us.

And to think we sometimes question why the board 'put up' with AW and this trophy drought we find ourselves in.

I bet they would say he's the best thing since sliced bread, probably better even.

Hard to argue with that too!

I don't mean on here. But check the comments section of any Arseblog News article, or pretty much any Arsenal piece on any other site out there. Literally everything is Ramsey's fault.

I think the game was there to be won and it looked a bit like a few people were on their holidays. But a loss would have been quite a disaster, so I'll take the point. It should still be in our hands thanks to goal difference, which is all you can aim for.
