I'm happy to say it after all the stick I've given him. When the good Walcott turns up he's worth it, I cling to the belief that he'll come good consistently. It's probably a fair weather comment mind. But you can't look at the pass, run, control and finish and not believe that there's class there. That's not chance or luck.

The thing is when you talk about consistency, Walcott's stats are pretty good, i believe 10 goals and 13 assists but i understand that he is a frustrating player.

Captain Wales?

I wandered off for the last 15 minutes and missed the first 25, but the inbetween bits were a bit crap. Good to get a result in the sort of match we've been known to mess up, but Wolves were playing like a team that were already down, they weren't even kicking people that often. Santos is definitely Eboue 2 - he's probably marginally better going forward, but he's not a Premiership defender. He got destroyed about 5 times in a match where Wolves went forward about 5 times. One time he literally ran away from the ball, I've got no idea what he thought he was doing. Song was definitely man of the match for me, he was everywhere and not even in the terrifying Song-has-gone-forward-help way.

3 points though and if we do that a couple more times we can focus on having another fun summer.

It's the 25 goal difference that might be a problem. If there were ten games left though...

It's not much really, give that the very minimum for it to happen is an improvement of 10 goals. If we win 3-0 each time, we're only needing them to lose 2-0 each time. That's not ridiculous, really. Since we need City to beat United, we also need them to gain a maximum of 2 points from their other 4 games.

This is fun maths.

Heh and here's me tji

Dunno if anyone noticed, but with United losing we're still mathematically in the title race :eyebrows:

I was actually thinking "we could snatch second!".

Its not massively unrealistic considering Man City's recent form.

Pfft. Realism. As far as I'm concerned now I've done the maths, title or Wenger out.
