I know you have this whole "I have to take a shot at anyone that disagrees with me" thing, but there's no need to be insulting. I don't profess to know every player in every league, in fact the only league I watch with any regularity now is the Premier League. I don't think I've even managed to watch a single Champions League game this season. Believe it or not, you're not the only person with friends that go to Southampton games. Liverpool were linked heavily with him in the weeks before Arsenal signed him so I had my own reasons for checking him out. I was told that he is a striker that sometimes plays on the wing.

And yeah, I tried to find some stuff to see which of us was correct, everything I found says he was predominantly played as a striker. I've actually found a site that lists the entire team from every game he played in. And in most of them he's up front with one of the players I mentioned (plus Dexter Blackstock) - a crude little and large front-two, basically.

The Arsenal kit is a genuine disgrace. There should be some sort of law and subsequent unusual punishment for changing the fundemental club colours on a kit. I'd say it's an even more shameful effort than that piss-poor Spurs kit we were lumbered with a couple of years ago. Bloody awful.

But the problem here is it doesn't look like trim, it's a big nasty block on the sleeves. And it doesn't look blue, it looks black. The socks are also shit.

Infact if it was dark blue I would go as far as to say it looked half decent.

Do we have any input in the kit or do Nike just send us their latest "design" every year?

I'll have to get some of the photos I've got from when I was a nipper with Ian Wright at London Colney. That and a scan of Remi Garde's signature which I have for some reason. The benefits of having a pushy dad with little to no regard for 'no entry' signs.

I think it'll just be Rosicky on the left wing in the normal formation. Gives Gibbs more protection than Chamberlain would I guess, and might have something to do with the apparently shit pitch condition on the flanks.

edit: it's quite a conservative starting XI but we have plenty of attacking options on the bench

edit2: any idea why stiff_one isn't in the Milan squad? Injured?
