I haven't been watching today.

Point is, Walcott is massively disappointing and you can't argue that. Chamberlain looks twice the player already.

They are different types of players. Walcott wants to get in behind the defence (as he is a striker) whereas Ox is a midfielder so always wants the ball and try and make things happen. Walcott can be frustrating like alot of our players but he is a scapegoat for alot of the teams faults. i certainly would rather him in my team than against.

On another note, wouldn't this be a good time to rest RVP?

I haven't been watching today. And Chamberlain has scored two, anyway.

There hasn't been much between them this match. Walcott has done well, Chamberlain might have edged it though. Just.

Coquelin has done as well as both as well.

They're both quick wide men mate. Walcott isn't a striker, he wants to be a striker. He's not a scapegoat he's just rubbish more often than not. He can do it but one OK game in five isn't enough.

Also I think Walcott has actually got three assists today.

Fair enough, can't argue with that.

Wow that is a pretty simplistic view. Walcott is a striker who has been converted to play on the right hand side of midfield which doesn't suit him. If the midfields passing is too slow (which is more often than not) he gets snuffed out of a game. You have to play to your players strengths, walcott is a very direct player, just look at how many of RVP's goals have come courtesy of a Walcott assist.

My brother just reminded me that Lawro bet Henry wouldn't score again this season. The cherry on the cake.

"You see these, Lawro? These are for you. This one's going up your narrow fucking Irish ass and this bad boy over here's going in your fucking eye."

Well Walcott did well today. If he can find some consistently good form then it'll be a nice selection headache to have.

I still don't think Theo will ever be good enough for a top four club though, and would be fine to see him go in the summer if he really is after £90k a week.

Weird to see Song play so well just a few days after looking totally shot to pieces against Bolton. Arteta was great again.

I think those two facts are very closely related. Arteta just makes everyone better, but Song is by far the biggest beneficiary.

Great stuff. Lovely to cap it all with a goal from Henry at the end. Fucking bin bags. Not one in sight. Not sure where the Mirror got that shit from.

Glad I got a ticket for the little one today. She was thrilled to see Henry score at the end, I imagine mostly as a result of hearing me bang on about him for all of her 8 years.

Not sure if it came through on the streams etc but there was some long and quite loud "we love you Arsenal we do" over and over again. Yes it's only Blackburn but was nice to win and win big again, get some confidence back in the players and some positivity back around the place.

And to repeat what others have the said the Ox was immense, RvP is just incredible and Kos was top notch again. I'm reluctant to slag off the German because if he improves next season as much as Kos has well that could be impressive.

I hope the Ox doesn't get picked for the Euros as the hype will be too much but if he keeps this up its a certainty.
