It was a bit shit, admittedly, but losing points against a "dogged" Bolton away isn't exactly new. We really need to get a big win somewhere though, there are so many players out there that just aren't playing and that's the only solution.

Mate, they're not playing because they're fucking knackered. Why didn't Ramsey get rested for Rosicky? Or Song for Coquelin? They're playing game after game after game

I don't think that they're all physically knackered. Ramsey clearly is, but I don't think that's a massive problem for everyone in the team - I think they're just...bored. I know they're professionals and shouldn't be affected and...blah. But it's just constantly mind-numbingly dull. Best player to leave and/or get injured, potential not being fulfilled, defensively naive, only signing of transfer window an attacking midfielder with potential.

Take Bolton - last year they had a great season. This year they've been at best patchy, but they have something to fight for down there and if they play well they're flying - last year at this point they got Sturridge in, fast, exciting player who put in some amazing performances. This year they've got Miyaichi in. Maybe he'll be shit, but it's (for want of a better word) fun to find out.

That's what Arsenal needs.

What's going on with the Blackburn game on Saturday-why's it a 1pm kick-off? It's not on TV so why the stupid kick-off time?

Victoria Line is closed so they brought the kick off forward. Atmosphere is embarrassingly bad at the best of times at the Emirates but it's always like a morgue with these early kick offs.

I'd like to think the players will want to get revenge on Blackburn for the shocking defeat earlier in the season, but I predict a real struggle.

I mean, it's been enjoyable having Henry back and the way things are carrying on his goal against Leeds is likely to be the one and only genuine highlight of this season, but he goes home in a couple of weeks and we'll be stuck with the perennial semi-on penis of Chamakh and some guy called Park who's only reason to travel with the team is to get a bit of fresh air and spend a few hours out of the house. It's not like there's a procession of young strikers we're trying not to stifle coming through or anything, we just don't have any options. There's no plan making itself apparent and we just seem to lurch from one terrible decision to the next. That we're hoping for Van Persie to both stay fit and continue a run of superhuman performances strays into negligence for me. It's a squad of make-dos and has-beens with a handful of genuinely good players who are too few to drag the rest of them along.

Whilst I'm at it, Ivan Gazidiz is a helmet. He's good at placating fans with his marketing bullshit but doesn't ever seem to achieve anything. I feel he should be selling time shares somewhere rather than running a football club.

I got negged to hell and back when I gave my views on the Henry situation. It was a cheap way to try and appease fans. They knew long ago that they were not going to spend any money in the transfer window, but Henry was brought in to give the whole club a morale boost. They hoped everyone would be giddy with excitement for the whole loan period.

I really hope people can see that we are getting mugged off here by the club. The results since Xmas have been crap, Henry had a magic moment against Leeds but he hasn't really had any game time since then, just a couple of cameo substitute appearances. It makes me wonder if they are even allowed to play him for a whole game. The whole loan deal seems dodgy to me.

We have a lot of hard games left to play & everyone around us is picking up points so it's not a surprise we are now 7th in the league. We are 12 points behind Spurs and an embarrassing 17 points behind the top two. The gap is opening up between 4th place and where we are and it's only going to get wider.

As a Man Utd fan I'm never particularly keen to see Arsenal win. However, last night I predicted every result correctly apart from you lot winning and would have made a couple of hundred quid if you'd won.

And Van Persie is the captain of my Fantasy League team.

Y U no win Arsenal? :(

Because we are poo.

I think what would frustrate me most about Arsenal is the inconsistency. Van Persie is immense but everyone else seems to blow so hot and cold that it's impossible to know which Arsenal team is going to turn up. Walcott can be amazing some games but then he'll mysteriously go missing for the next 5, as if he's never seen a football in his life. Wenger has been an amazing manager over the years but a new manager might just give them the kick up the arse they need, providing he was backed with sufficient funds for a complete overhaul.

The only way I'd be interested in a change of manager now is if it came with an overhaul at board level and some new owners if possible. I genuinely believe Wenger would spend money if it was available. The guy watches about five games a day and blows his own birthday party off to watch a lower league German reserve game on telly, his knowledge is boundless, and you're telling me the best he can come up with is some of the crap we've got? Incredibly difficult to believe. Wenger is the best we can get at the moment when you just accept the fact that we're unlikely to win the league again for a very, very long time.

Totally agree. As I said above the problems are deeper than just the manager. People talk about Mourinho but do they think someone like him is gonna come if there is literally no money to spend? Wenger has been let down by the board and the players he has put so much faith in.

I always wondered if Pep Guardiola might fancy it, seeing as he's made comments about leaving Barcelona before and he'd like to manage in England. Arsenal always seemed like a really good fit for him in my head. I don't know enough about the behind the scenes stuff to comment but it's clear that something's not right.

Call me crazy but I'd quite fancy having Mourinho. I'd rather be winning games 1-0 than losing 8-2 that's for sure. I like his tactics & ideas & he's not scared to make unpopular decisions. If you play shit you get yanked off and subbed under him. That's how it should be. The only issue we'd have is that Jose likes a good transfer budget.

Say what you like about him, Mourinho is a winner. And he loves London.

But how much longer will Silent Stan stay Silent? What are his plans? No one knows. And remember, it's only 3 months before they want us to renew our over priced season tickets. They always have the nerve to put the deadline at the end of May. Why the fuck should we hand over up to 1400 of our very heard earned pounds when we don't know what is going on? Just imagine how daft the Emirates is going to look with 10,000-20,000 empty seats.

If they put prices up again, shit is going down.

Surely they'll be a reduction with no Champions League footy? I wouldn't put it past them to keep the price the same and insist the cup vouchers normally used for Champions League matches have to be used for the UEFA Pub Cup (should we qualify), though!

The UEFA Pub Cup should be optional like the League Cup.

There has been talk of a league season ticket for a while from the Black Scarf guys but the club have been dragging their feet on it for ages.

If they think they can charge the same for the Europa as they do for the CL well lol is all I have to say to that. At the moment we aren't qualifying for either so no need to worry about that just yet!

Oh yeah, how long have they been flogging wine inside the stadium? I couldn't believe what I was seeing with all these people drinking wine for £4.50 at half time last weekend! I'm used to seeing people chomping on a badly made pie & knocking back a hot drink.

Wine FFS! What is going on at the club?

Did I tell you the one where this woman asked some guys sitting near me to stop making so much noise? Astonishing...

I got some filthy looks from a 50-something couple sat in front after I started yelling at Arshavin and giving some stick to the opposing fans recently. I wasn't being particularly sweary either. They then didn't reappear for the second half, presumably because they didn't like that awful man shouting things.

I think Guardiola will take a sabbatical if he doesn't renew with Barca, or perhaps a low pressure job for stupid money in some oil-rich Arab league. He's forever complaining about the stress of the job, and it'd be even worse at Arsenal.

Mourinho won't go to Arsenal because his salary is too high and the board wouldn't want his bullshit at Arsenal, which is fair enough. He's successful yeah, but he's an unstable man-child at the end of the day.

As for Kroenke, fuck knows. I guess him and Uzmanov are still at an impasse and it's difficult to go anywhere until one of them gets bored and sells up. God knows how long that will take.

Yeah, but we've seen that there's no pressure at Arsenal. We're not bothered about winning anything really. Stress free.

Media pressure and fan pressure would be worse, I'd imagine. You'd have thought managing Barca would be comparatively easy in terms of pressure, when you've been as successful as he has and you have a squad full of world class players. Maybe I'm wrong though, I don't know.

Again, with Guardiola I don't know what sort of salary he'd be on but it's probably higher than Wenger. And would he do significantly better if there's little money to spend on new recruits? Could he polish the Arsenal turd? I dunno.

I'd love to see him trying to get Arshavin to press hard from the front though, and to see him play 3-2-2-3 on that fabled wet Wednesday night at the Britannia.
