Just popping in to vent my fury at that substitution. I was 100% sure it'd be Walcott coming off. After taking a battering in the first half the game was potentially there for the taking and AOC was all over it, he was fantastic. If there wasn't some kind of injury then that's gotta be up there with the worst subs I've ever seen. Truly gutting.

He's going to be fuming at that substitution I'm afraid. He looked mystified when it happened and Arshavin's pathetic contribution after coming on will only reinforce that view.

Walcott was absolute dogshit yet again, so if you really really want to bring on Arshavin on for someone, why the fuck not him? The game hinged on that change and it was a shocker. I wonder if they will concoct an injury for Ox now to try and spare Wenger's blushes.

We can blame Wenger's substitutions all we like, but we should never have started with DJ and we all knew exactly what Man U would do by hammering the full-backs (or lack of them). I also have no idea what is going on with our forward play-Man U played their 'classic' 2 banks of 4 in front of their keeper and once again, we had no answer to it. Our movement going forward was poor, we created no space and didn't move the ball quickly enough.

Also, we were shit. We got beat by a second-rate Man U team who never moved into 2nd gear and made it look easy.
