Tracer's Slightly Advanced Cs Tactics

Unfortunately you cannot have more than a 2 person tower any more and you'll bounce off.

No, you slide off. I was wondering if you can start a plant before you fall.

And to be fair, in a clan match it would be blatently unfair and shouldn't be done if it is possible. For a mess-around though, go for it :(

Why the hell would it be "blatantly unfair"?! Stacking is perfectly acceptable, the only problem is that they may accuse us of hax/cheating, then we can use the video thing (it has a name I know) to prove our innocence. We could start a whole new tactic, soon everyone will be stack planting. It's not as if they can't reach it or anything, right?

actually if you did plant it standing off someones head, the ct's would still be able to diffuse by just standing still, as you are able to defuse the bomb a couple of feet away. still not a bad idea. at least it leaves the CT in a vunerable position

I never though this would actually prevent the CTs from defusing the bomb, although if you climbed on some boxes, then stacked it'd make it more complicated for them. The main idea is to make the bomb as visible as possible, and thus make the people trying to defuse it as visible as possible.

Doesn't the game normally complain that "You must be standing on the floor of the bombsite to defuse?" Of does it count other people's heads as the floor :) . Anyway I've gotta try this out, just to see the position of the bomb, let's do it on the FNMDCSP at least.

well, it could work on Dust2. One person gets on top of another, and the last guy gets on 1 of the boxes and jumps on top of both of them, then he starts planting and they can all stand up.

personnally if i see you running at me strafing i'll aim in front of the strafe and kill you. An effective anti sniper will strafe and wait for the sniper to shoot and then hold and shoot a 3 shot burst. and then strafe again. Or if your in a team of two people one runs wildy past the sniper and the other pops his head round the corner and twats the sniper.

There are no maps on CS that the M4/AK can't out shoot the Awp.

Something i've noticed is that on ever DE map there is a spot that you can plant the bomb and the step back at quite a distance, or a enclosed area. Or at least i've found this on Cbble and Prod... Still looking for the rest.

I still don't belive this whole M4 malarky, When I tested it in game, office, CT spawn shooting the garage next to the side window the silenced M4 came back with a much wider radius, even when in burst of two or three.

Another point of binding walk to the Mouse2, and binding Secondary function to Mouse3 works quite well, stopping the anoyying silencer switches.

And on a last point, learn to quick switch when reloading to stop the reload rather than running off till it's finished. I'm sure i've gained many a kill due to this. Though before I gave up CS for the first time I did make a nice script to hold down R, and relasing would automatically switch, learning yourslef is much better.

on Dust2 you can plant on the edge and go down the ramp at the bottom to cover it, Aztec plant in the middle of B then you can hide out in the 'courtyard' and cover the bomb

True true, it's even better if you have an awp down long A covering the bomb, you can whack the CT for 400+ dmg with a headshot that way

As for tactics... just try and plant the bomb where it's most visible whenever possible. A good example of this is on Chateau, plant the bomb in the centre of either bombsite, rather than the corners, it's much easier to watch that way.

also be careful of walls, people can defuse through walls, a prime example is bombsite B on chateau, plant the bomb near the edge and a ct can come defuse it through a wall without the ts knowing.

and if you're defusing and there's some t's still alive, get as much cover as you can while you defuse, duck round the corner or something, as long as you are quite close to it you can defuse it

Ah yes, the first I found, just forgot to mention it. I might make a nice little picture book when I find them all actually...

Just been playing on Dust, and you can plant it with a view between the double doors at A (I think it was) or just at the top of the ramp, nothing really special on that map...
