1 GBA (around the launch)

and it's pretty much fucked now, but it's done me well. It still works, but you have to connect it to a tv as the screen is just wrong. And I mean to get a DS. I'm not including original GBs as that would be fucking stupid, like asking who owns an N64 and people replying 3: 1 nes, 1 snes and 1 N64.

This is for me and the kids by the way.

3 x Gameboy

1 x Pocket

1 x Super Gameboy

3 x Gameboy Color

1 x Gameboy Advance

3 x Gameboy Advance SP

1 x Gameboy Player

Total 13.

And, depending on price, I'll be buying two Micros.

EDIT: 3 x DS

2X GBC (Pikachu Edition) bought brand new off ebay last year (I envisaged some Pokemon linkage but the first lead I bought didn't seem to work. I recently bought an official Nintendo one).

As for the GBA...

GBA (I have an Afterburner to fit)

Blue GBA SP (had a rather large voucher from GAME!!)

DS

Silver GBA SP (slightly tatty case but good screen from GAME the other week in their pre-owned deal).

And of course I have a Gameboy Player which I have used a few times.

Like you JP, I'm not planning on buying a GBA Micro.

I don't know if I should be impressed, or shocked.

I'm leaning towards the latter.

Also one day did you suddenly realise you had too many or did you get bored of them one by one?

Personally I have 1 gba. Purple at launch.

But I do have a GBC and an original grey GB (which I sold for a tenner).

White Japanese GBA near launch, sold shortly afterwards.

Another white japanese GBA from lik sang about a year later.

Transparent UK GBA for my wee brother,

Purple UK GBA for my brother after he smashed the sreen up on his other one whilst playing Castlevania on a non-afterburned GBA.

DS for myself and soon to buy one for said brother's imminent birthday (he's calmed down quite a bit).

So 5 at the mo, soon to be six and I quite fancy a micro/Play-Yan combo.

A few I bought for friends (well JP didn't specify 'for yourself!') - just the Black and Platinum GBA SP's mind and the Hello Kitty GBA for a girlfriend at the time. I did play them to test they were okay with no dead pixels, etc. The first GBA I had I sold to a colleague of mine at the time with some games for his little son.

The others, such as the FFT one I bought, played a bit, realised it was worth too much to really justify me keeping it so sold it on eBay and made a nice little profit in the process.

Likewise with the Torchic I bought it as a curio then later sold it on to someone who would appreciate it better than me.

The Q player looks plain ugly and sold it on (before I knew what crazy prices they were going at) and the Pearl/ Baby blue GBA SP I sold as someone wanted one pretty quickly and I was looking to get a NES classic anyway.

The rest I keep - the Rockman EXE GBA is again, a curio and I enjoyed the anime show.

So there you have it - that's why I've been through so many and not because they all broke on me! :P
