they had a whole bunch of Ferraris in the supercar paddock, behind the house. Including the new Pinfarina 2005 Birdcage masserati. which IS the fucking tits. oh yes.

so yeah, f430, scaligiri thingy, 550, 575, and a couple 360's . all very nice. Except the 430 looks like a 360 that's been on a diet and had it's moth enlarged.

missed the Dakar stuff.

saw the GT4 stuff. huge que of sweaty 16 year olds with acne and baseball caps at juanty angles, being "street" put me off -_-

MR2 should have been mentioned in the section about convertable roadsters. It might be old but it's still ace.

It was in one of the earlier roundups wasnt it though? Dont think any of tonights 3 were. That and the fact its disapearing from the market soon probably explained its absence. Have the featured the new mx-5 yet? I know it was in the current issue of the magazine but I dont know has it been on the show.

With the Astons, the Mecedes and the Zondas? Maybe I did see it then.

yeah that's the kiddy. and my point exactly. It was only later looking at the photos that i realised it was the 430. It just looks like a 360 with a little less body fat. I thought it was the racing version of the 360 at the time.

Hammond and May got PCO registered and went mini-cabbing to test two MPVs, that?

That's probably it. Did that one have the added challenge that they couldn't tell the passengers they were reviewing the car? A kind of hidden camera, covert review thing going on.

I was actually thinking I might like an Astra VXR. Don't want one now.

240Bhp through the front wheels will do that to you. It couldn't have been anything other than stupid.

Wish they hadn't spent so much time slagging off the M5, before moving onto the good bits. But then it is the only BMW I would actually pay money for.

It's the only BMW I've seen where you're not paying badge money. The 3, 5 and 7 series are all fabulous, but so are their rivals, and their rivals are all a good £10k cheaper when you've specced up with a decent set of options. The M5 is different simply because there aren't really any rivals.
